WIN: Two Australian Geographic walking books
Woodslane Press and Australian Geographic have added two new walking titles to their best-selling Australian bush and city walking guide range.
Australian Geographic Best Walks East of Melbourne (RRP $29.99) features 40 walks, from Phillip Island to Ninety Mile Beach, the Yarra Ranges to Wilsons Promontory, while Australian Geographic Best Walks of the Gariwerd-Grampians National Park (RRP $24.99) includes 25 walks.
Both guides specify the distance for each walk, total ascent and descent (if appropriate), the grade and estimated duration, accompanied by a colour map and more than 100 colour photographs to provide you with a clear sense of each walk's features.
There are also snippets on the areas' history, wildlife and environment.
The guides will help you discover many classic walks as well as some wild and adventurous tracks that few know exist.
