PROMOTIONAL PERIOD
1. “WATERGRILL SUMMER LUNCH COMPETITION” (“Promotion”) commences on Monday 30th November 2020
and ends on Sunday 14th February 2021. Dedes Waterfront Group owns Watergrill Abbotsford (“venue”)
2. The Promotion comprises of one (1) Prize Draw which will be held at 12:00pm on Monday 15th February
2021.
3. The period during which participants in the Promotion can earn entry (“Entry / Entries”) into the Prize Draw
commences at 12:00pm on Monday 30th November 2020 and ends at 11:59pm on Sunday 14th February 2020
(“Promotional Period”).
ELIGIBILITY
4. Participation in the Promotion is limited to persons who are, insofar as is the case for the duration of the
Promotional Period:
a. 18 years of age or over;
b. Are not banned from Dedes Waterfront Group venues as directed by Management of the Group or the
venue.
PARTICIPATION
5. To earn an entry, Eligible Entrants must register for the promotion via:
a. Dedes Newsletter: where readers will be prompted to enter the competition via a form on the Watergrill
Abbotsford website. Once completed, they will be in the draw automatically.
b. An online entry form on Dedes Waterfront Group website and the websites of participating Dedes
Waterfront Group Venues. This will also be promoted on Social Media (e.g. Instagram and Facebook)
Entrants must provide contact details include Name, email, phone number, birthday day/date and
postcode. Entrants must also agree to on-going marketing communications from Dedes Waterfront Group at
the time of registration.
6. It is the Eligible Entrants’ responsibility to be and alert and attentive to the announcement at 12:00pm on
Monday 15th February 2021.
7. The promotion is limited to one entry per person into the Prize Draw.
PRIZE DRAW
8. The Prize Draw will be held at a Dedes Waterfront Group Head Office at End of Woolwich Rd, Woolwich
2110 (“Main Draw Location”). Dedes Waterfront Group is the company that runs the promotion.
9. One (1) randomly selected Eligible Entrant will be chosen from the barrel at the Prize Draw (“Drawn
Entrant”).
10. The name of the winner will be published on Dedes Waterfront Group’s social media and the winner will
be contacted by phone and/or email on the day of Monday 15th February 2021.
IDENTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
11. To claim a prize, a Drawn Entrant must present themselves to the representative at Dedes Waterfront
Group within 7 days of their name being announced (“Standard Presentation Period”). The Promoter, subject
to any directions from the regulatory authority, may at any time (including after the Standard Presentation
Period expires) and at its sole and absolute discretion, extend the presentation period (“Extended
Presentation Period”) applicable to any particular Drawn Entrant if that Drawn Entrant:
a. is at Dedes Waterfront Group venues during the Standard Presentation Period;
b. identifies themselves to the Representative during the Standard Presentation Period;
c. attempts to present themselves at the Main Draw Location or Dedes Waterfront Group venues during the
Standard Presentation Period; and
d. is in the course of attempting to present themselves at the Main Draw Location when the Standard
Presentation Period expires.
12. To claim a prize, a Drawn Entrant must then produce within 7 days their current and valid identification
that is valid and acceptable to the Representative (“Valid ID”).
Valid ID means:
a. a passport, Australian driver’s licence or other form of photographic identification in which the photograph
is clear and undamaged and that is otherwise acceptable to the Promoter; or
b. The Representative reserves the right to waive or vary the identification requirements in circumstances
where the identity of a Drawn Entrant is determinable without the assistance of a Card or other form of
identification.
13. If a Drawn Entrant cannot produce his/her/their Valid ID within 7 days at the Main Draw Location, the
selection will be deemed invalid (“Invalid Selection”).
PRIZE DRAW
14. The Prize Winner of the will win a lunch at Watergrill Abbotsford guests valued at AUD$600 towards preallocated spends on food, beverage and hosting.
15. The prize is non-transferable & cannot be exchanged for cash. The prize is valid until the 28th February 2021
and must be redeemed through Dedes Waterfront Group management. The total value of the prize will not
exceed AUD$600. Additional expenses above the value of this voucher will be at the expense of the winner.
All prices and charges are inclusive of Australian GST where applicable.
16. Should the Prize Winner cancel their prize it will be non-refundable.
17. If the drawn Entry for the Prize Draw is deemed an Invalid Selection or the Prize Draw does not result in the
selection of a prize winner (“Prize Winner”), up to two (2) redraws will occur until a valid Prize Winner is found. If
a valid Prize Winner is not found at this point, the prize will be awarded to a member at random and advised
by writing the following working day
GENERAL
18. The total prize pool consists of an AUD$600 lunch at Watergrill Abbotsford from Dedes Waterfront Group. A
lunch from Deckhouse consists of food & beverage + hosting. The food & beverage selections are at the sole
discretion of Deckhouse and will be from the Group Bookings menu available on Deckhouse’s website.
Beverages may be selected from Deckhouse’s beverage menu.
19. Dedes Waterfront Group reserves the right to cancel or change the prize offered under the Promotion if
there are any changes to the law which would or might render the Promotion or any prizes offered under the
Promotion unlawful.
20. No prize, entry or other feature of the Promotion can be transferred or redeemed for other goods or
services.
21. Should the Prize Winner fail to claim their prize, Dedes Waterfront Group will make arrangements, in
accordance with Service NSW and/or the Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing requirements, for a redraw to
distribute the unclaimed prizes.
22. Conduct of the entire Promotion, including decisions on the eligibility of persons to enter and validity of
entry and prizes, shall be the responsibility of the Representative. The Representative’s decisions in relation to
the conduct of the Promotion are final.
23. To the extent that a situation, malfunction, or other issue arises for which these terms and conditions make
no provision or in relation to which the relevant terms and conditions are unclear, Dedes Waterfront Group
reserves the right to (a) make a decision regarding those circumstances which is not inconsistent with these
terms and conditions; and/or (b) postpone the draw(s) to a time and place which will allow the draw to be
conducted in accordance with all terms and conditions other than those terms and conditions which specify
the time and place of the draw(s).
24.The Promoter is not responsible for any loss, damage or injury suffered or claimed, including, but no limited
to, indirect or consequential loss or damage, personal injury or death, and direct or indirect loss or damage
by an entrant in relation to entering or participating in this Promotion or taking or using the prizes offered
except where that loss, damage or injury was caused by breach of these terms and conditions by the
Promoter or the wilful or negligent acts or omissions of the Promoter. To avoid any doubt the Promoter shall
not be liable for loss caused by technical and mechanical malfunction which is outside the control of the
Promoter.
25. The promoter may disclose your personal information including details of Prize Winners where the Promoter
is required or authorised to do so by or under law or there the disclosure is reasonably necessary to enforce
the law. This may occur under the laws that apply to our business, for example, where a regulatory authority
requests information from us.
26. Directors, management and employees of the Dedes Waterfront Group (including, without limitation,
Dedes Waterfront Group venues Watergrill(s), Deckhouse Woolwich, Flying Fish & View By Sydney) and
their immediate families are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.
27. Participation in the Promotion by an Eligible Entrant confirms acceptance of the terms and conditions
governing Dedes Waterfront Group and the Promotion. This includes but it not limited to the governing laws
and regulations of the Responsible Service of Alcohol.
28. The Prize Winner consents to having his/her name and photograph published in any form of media
and agrees to participate in any reasonable promotion requested by Dedes Waterfront Group. This includes
general photography and video content being taken of the Seafari experience they won.
29. Prize Winner will be published on
www.dedesgroup.com.au on Monday 15th February 2021.
30. The laws of the state of New South Wales govern the Promotion.
31. The Promotion is authorised by Service NSW and a permit is not required at the value of the prize is less
than $10,000.
