Entry Restrictions Entrants must be Australian residents and 18 years of age or older.
Employees, directors (and their immediate families) of the
Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible
to enter.
Promotion Period The Promotion starts on Thursday, 18 February 2021 at 5:00pm
AEST and closes on Thursday, 4 March 2021 at 5:00pm AEST.
No entries will be accepted after the Promotion closes.
Metricon reserves the right to close the Promotion early.
Verification Requirements Entrants may be required to provide proof of identity, age and
residency.
Entry Procedure –
Competition
Entry is open to Victorian residents who have completed the
relevant “Lunar New Year Dinner with Diana registration form” via
the Metricon website during the Promotion Period.
Entries into the competition are dependant upon completing the
mandatory fields in the registation portal.
This competition is a game of chance. No entry fee or purchase is
necessary to enter.

Multiple entries are not permitted.
Winner selection details A winner will be drawn at random by 5:00pm (AEST) Monday, 8
March 2021.
Prize details One winner will be awarded a three course dinner prepared by
Diana Chan with accompanying drinks at Metricon’s Doulton Display
home in Burwood East, VIC. The winner is entitled to bring nine
adult guests to the event.

The event will occur on a date in 2021, as agreed upon by the
winner and the Promoter. See information under ‘Prize Restrictions’
for more information, particularly around any date changes needed

due to government health directives (for example, due to COVID19).
The winner and their guests are responsible for arranging and for
the cost of any transport to/from the dinner. This also applies to
any accomodation requirements that the winner or their guests
may require by attending the dinner.
Prize value is estimated at AUD $10,500.00. Other items pictured in
competition collateral are not included in the prize.
Prize Restrictions The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be
redeemed as cash.
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be
entered into.
The Prize does not include transport costs to and from the event or
accommodation costs. Winners must arrange their own transport to
and from the event.
If the event is unable to proceed as scheduled due to governmentadvised COVID-19 restrictions, an alternative date will be arranged.
If an alternative date is unable to be scheduled, the Promoter
reserves the right to subsitute the prize with another of equivalent
value.
The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the
competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the
event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God
or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or
regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control.
Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon
as possible by the promoter.
Notification of winners The winner will be notified by phone and email within 2 days of the
Prize judgment.

Arrangements
The Promoter will contact the winner by email and will invite them
to reply to confirm their acceptance. If the Promoter is unable to
contact the winner and has not received confirmation from them
within 28 days of the announcement, a second chance winner will
be selected.
Collection of Entrants
Personal Information
The Promoter will collect your personal information to conduct the
Promotion and select the winner.
The winner’s name will be published on
www.metricon.com.au for
a minimum of 28 days.

Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will
be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation
and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior

by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram or any other Social
Network. Entrants release Instagram from all liability in respect of
this promotion. You are providing your information to Metricon
Homes and not to any other party. The information provided will be

https://www.metricon.com.au/privacy-policyAdditional Terms Winners must be willing to particpate in video footage and
photography on the evening for promotional use by Metricon and
Diana Chan.
Winners will be permitted to post photography and videography
from the event on social media.
Winners are expected to demonstate friendly, respectful personal
conduct at the dinner, respecting the privacy of all attendees,
consumption of alchol and Metricon’s display home.
The Doulton display home is a NON-SMOKING environment.
The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed
by Victorian law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive
jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these
terms and conditions.
