Dymocks Bluey Colouring In Game of Skill 2021 Competition - Terms and Conditions
1. Information on how to enter and on the prizes form part of these terms and conditions. Any entry not complying with these terms and conditions is invalid. By participating in the promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Conditions.
2. The Promotional Period begins at 00.01am (AEST) on Thursday 08 April 2021 and closes at 11.59pm (AEST) on Sunday 09 May 2021.
3. Entry is open to children of Australia aged 8 or younger who complete the Bluey Colouring In entry form (available in store or online) and return it to their local Dymocks store or who have a parent/guardian post a photo of their completed form on Instagram using the hashtag #dymocksbluey and tag the Dymocks Instagram account (@dymocksbooks) during the Promotional Period. Only one entry per child will be accepted. The Instagram account must be set to public on Tuesday 11 May 2021 in order to be visible and included during the judging. Any Instagram accounts set to private on Tuesday 11 May 2021 will not be included in the judging.
4. Dymocks accepts no responsibility for entries not received due to any technical problems including any late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if illegitimate, manipulated or tampered in any way.
5. This competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner(s). All entries will be judged individually on their merits based on creativity and originality. The best entries, as determined by the judges, will each receive a prize.
6. If the entry form is submitted in store, the judging will take place at the Dymocks store submitted to on Tuesday 11 May 2021. For entries submitted on Instagram, the judging will take place at 10.00am on Tuesday 11 May 2021 at Level 6, 428 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000. The winners will be notified by phone for entries submitted in store, or on Instagram for entries submitted on Instagram.
7. All decisions by the judges are final and binding on every person who enters. No further correspondence will be entered into.
8. The winner will be announced by Friday 14 May 2021.
9. There will be a total of fifty-five (55) winners (one winner per Dymocks store and one Instagram winner). The 55 winners will each win a Bluey prize pack. The individual Bluey prize packs each consist of;
a. 1x Bluey: My Mum is the Best book (RRP $16.99)
b. 1 x Bluey: Bingo book (RRP $14.99)
c. 1 x Bluey: Where’s Bluey? book (RRP $14.99)
d. 1 x Bluey: Mum School book (RRP $16.99)
e. 1 x Bluey: Fun and Games book (RRP $5.99)
10. The total prize pool is valued at up to AUD$3,847.25. Each individual prize is valued at up to AUD$69.95. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
11. In the event that any prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, then the Promoter may, but is not obliged to substitute a prize of equal or greater value, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
12. As the winners will all be under 18 years of age, the prizes will be awarded on their behalf to parents or guardians.
13. The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of identity and residential address of winners and any other information relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this promotion.
14. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered (even if caused by negligence) as a result of accepting and/or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
15. Before the prize is awarded, the winner and any other person(s) sharing the prize with the winner may be required to sign an agreement to release the Promoter from and indemnify the Promoter against any liability arising from the use or participation in the prize. Irrespective of whether an entrant signs a release, by entering in the Promotion each entrant is deemed to release the Promoter from and indemnify the Promoter against any liability, loss, cost, damage, claim, demand, proceeding or litigation of any kind relating to the use or participation in the prize.
16. Information collected from entrants will be used in accordance with the terms of the Promoter’s Privacy Policy which can be viewed at
https://www.dymocks.com.au/faq/privacy-security/. Information collected as part of the promotion will be used for the purpose of conducting this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties, including local lottery authorities, for the purpose of processing and conducting the promotion) and for promotional purposes surrounding this promotion. By entering this promotion entrants consent to the use of their information as described and agree that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment to the entrant.
17. Entrants confirm and promise that their entry is original and does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party. Dymocks reserves the right to disqualify unsuitable entries.
18. If insufficient entries have been received in the opinion of the promoter, Dymocks reserves the right to cancel the competition.
19. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice and their entry in the event that they are a winner in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome) and/or promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
