The Australian Open has long been a fixture of Melbourne summers. Whether it’s the sound of matches drifting from the television through the house as we stay up late on a hot night to watch the finals action, or getting into the grounds themselves and soaking up the party atmosphere, the event has become a signature presence in Melbournians lives.
In partnership with Piper-Heidsieck, the official Champagne of the Australian Open, we’re giving you and a friend the chance to experience this rite of passage up close.
On Monday 17 January you’ll begin your evening with a 5pm feast at Chris Lucas’ sprawling new fancy fine-diner Society (valued at $500), where you can settle into the opulent surrounds and fuel up for the evening’s entertainment.
With dinner done you’ll switch from Collins Street to centre court, where from 7pm you’ll take courtside seats (valued at $2400) and bear witness to some of the world’s best athletes battle it out in the cool of the evening. You’ll also receive a complementary glass of award-winning Champagne at the Piper-Heidsieck Champagne Bar located at Rod Laver Arena Terrace.
