Social Media Terms and Conditions
1- The Promoter is: Verbatim Australia Pty Ltd (ABN no. 39 005 706 374) whose registered office is at Unit 6, 450 Princes Hwy NOBLE PARK, VIC 3174.
2- The Promoter is running a Competition to give 5 Entrants the chance to each win 1 of the 5 Prizes (Competition).
3- The following terms and conditions apply to the Competition (terms and conditions).
Who can enter?
4- The Competition is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or over (Entrants), except any person/s who are:
(a) an employee of the Promoter;
(b) a relative or family member of an employee of the Promoter; or
(c) otherwise connected or associated with the Promoter or any individual associated with the running of the Competition.
5- There is no fee to enter the Competition and no purchase necessary to enter this Competition.
6- By entering this Competition, an Entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions, and an Entrant’s entry into the Competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
How to enter:
7- Entrants can enter the Competition by visiting either the Promoter’s Facebook page at
https://www.facebook.com/VerbatimAUNZ/ (Verbatim Facebook page) or Instagram page at
https://www.instagram.com/verbatimaunz/?hl=en (Verbatim Instagram page) and doing one of the following:
(a) “Liking” the Verbatim Facebook page; or
(b) “Following” the Verbatim Instagram page.
8- Completion of the above by an Entrant will be considered one Entry.
9- Only one Entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
10- The Competition will commence on 15th April 2022 at 9am AEDT and will close on Monday the 30th of April 2022 at 5pm AEDT (Competition Period). After this date no further entries to the Competition will be permitted or accepted.
11- No responsibility is accepted by the Promoter for entries not received by the Promoter within the Competition Period for whatever reason.
12- To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event or circumstance outside of the Promoter’s control. Any changes to the Competition will be notified to Entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter and/or posted on the Promoter’s Verbatim Facebook page, Verbatim Instagram page or website.
13- The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate Prize details supplied to any Entrant by any third party connected with this Competition.
Prizes
14- There will be 5 Prizes available to win. Each Prize comprises the following for a total prize value of $131.90:
(a) Verbatim Milan 13” Notebook Roller Case;
(b) Verbatim 65588 Power Pack; and
(c) Verbatim In Ear Headphones,
(collectively, the Prize).
15- The Prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. Prizes are subject to availability and the Promoter reserves the right to substitute any Prize with another of equivalent or greater value.
16- The Prize value is correct at time that the Competition commences. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the Prize during or at the end of the Competition Period.
Determination of Winners
17- Winners will be randomly selected from all Entries received and verified by the Promoter via social media sites as measured, recorded and verified by the Promoter and or its agents.
18- The random selection of the winner will be conducted at Verbatim Australia Pty Ltd, Unit 6, 450 Princes Highway, Noble Park, Victoria, Australia on 1st of February 2022.
19- The winner will be notified by email and/or DM on Facebook/Instagram within 21 days of the closing date. If a winner cannot be readily identified, contacted or does not claim the Prize within 14 days of notification, the Prize will be forfeited by that winner and the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the Prize from the winner and draw an additional Entrant’s name as a replacement winner.
20- The Promoter will notify the winner when and where the Prize can be collected or may offer to have the Prize delivered to the winner to an Australian address provided to the Promoter by the winner. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage of any Prize once it has left the possession of the Promoter.
21- The Promoter’s decisions in respect of all matters to do with the Competition are final.
Privacy and other matters
22- The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their Entry. Any personal information relating to the winner or any other Entrants will be used solely in accordance with current Australia data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the Entrant’s prior consent.
23- Any personal information of Entrants collected by the Promoter will be used for the purposes of conducting the Competition in accordance with these terms and conditions.
24- All personal information provided will be held in with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, as amended from time to time, which found at

Miscellaneous
25- This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram. You are providing your information to the Promoter and not to any other party.
26- By submitting an Entry to this Competition, you release Facebook and Instagram from any and all claims, losses or liabilities associated with this Competition.
27- Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter excludes all liability for any personal injury, loss or damage arising in any way out of the Competition, including, but not limited to, the use of the Prize.
28- The Competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by Australian law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
