1. THE PROMOTER
The promoter of this competition is Coates Hire Operations Pty Ltd (ABN 99 074 126 971) (Coates) of Level 6/241 O'Riordan St, Mascot NSW 2020, Australia and the National Rugby League (ABN 23 082 088 962) (NRL) of Rugby League Central Driver Avenue, Moore Park NSW 2021 (Promoters).
2. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS
Information on how to enter the Equipped For Victory promotion (“Promotion”), the prizes and rules for redeeming the prizes form part of these terms and conditions. Participation in this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions
3. WHO CAN ENTER?
To be eligible to enter you must reside in Australia are 18 years of age or older on the date of entry (“Eligible Entrant”). Eligible Entrants who are under the age of 18 years old on the date of entry must have parent or guardian approval to enter the competition and the parent or guardian of the Eligible Entrant must read and consent to these terms and conditions. Parents/guardians of Eligible Entrants under the age of 18 years old may be required by the Promoters to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to the minor entering the competition.
Employees of Coates, their immediate families and any agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter.

Employees of Greenroom Digital (ABN 62 151 814 283) (Agent), their immediate families and any agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter.
4. HOW TO ENTER
The Promotion commences at 9:00am AEST on 02/05/2022 and ends at 11:59pm AEST on 29/05/2022 (Competition Period), and the Promoters reserves the right to extend the Promotion end date at any time (subject to regulatory approval, if required).
To enter the Promotion, you must submit an online entry (Entry) by providing your name, email address and contact details and accept these Terms and Conditions where required on the competition landing page at

The competition will be advertised on the NRL email, social media, app and website channels and will include a link or instructions to the competition landing page. The competition will also be advertised by Coates through on social media, via email and at Coates branches.
The Promoters accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if illegitimate, forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way.
5. SELECTION OF WINNER
The winner will be chosen by random draw by the Promoters or their Agent which will take place from 10:00 AM AEST on 30 May 2022 at the Greenroom Digital head office (343 Ferrars St, South Melbourne, 3205)
The winner will be notified by email and/or telephone on the day of the draw.
This is a game of chance. The results of the draw will be final, and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the results of the draw.
6. UNCLAIMED PRIZE DRAW
If:
a winner fails to respond to the Agent’s notification within three months of being notified that they the winner of the competition (pursuant to clause 5 above); or
despite reasonable efforts made by the Agent, should the Agent be unable to identify a winner within a reasonable period based on the contact details provided in the Entry;
that winner will automatically forfeit their prize and Greenroom Digital reserves the right to select another winner or winners through a second chance draw.
If necessary, an unclaimed prize draw will be held from 02/06/22 at the same time and place as the first draw. The first valid entry or entries drawn will win any unclaimed prizes. The unclaimed prize draw winner will be notified by email and/or telephone on the day of the draw.
The results of any unclaimed prize draw will be final, and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the results of the draw.
7. PROMOTION AND MARKETING
By entering the competition, the winner agrees to participate in such promotional activity and material as the Promoters may require without remuneration.
The winner also consents to the use and publication of their name and any other details provided by the winner in any marketing material without any further reference or payment to the winner.
8. PRIZE
There will be one (1) prize winner (Winner), who will receive:
A signed ball from 1 of the 2022 games signed by Josh Morris and Ben Hannant, with an estimated value of $500.
In addition to the signed ball, the Winner and three (3) guests will receive:
Category 1 tickets to each of the three (3) 2022 NRL State of Origin (SOO) game for the Winner and each guest including a food and beverage allowance and seating in the Coates couch area up to a total of $4,200 for all 3 games,
Return economy flights from their nearest capital city to each SOO game (Perth, Brisbane, Sydney): up to a total of $8,000 for all 3 games. All 4 individuals must fly from the same location or make their way to the game host city;
One-night accommodation (2 twin share rooms) on the night of each of the Sydney and Brisbane SOO games and 2 nights for the Perth SOO game up to a total of $2,400 for all 3 games;
Transfers to and from the airport of each game location: up to a total of $600 for all 3 games;
Transfers between the hotel and stadium for each game: up to a total of $750 for all 3 games;
Lunch with two (2) Coates ambassadors on the day of each SOO game up to a total value of $720 for all 3 games;
Recovery pack room drop for the Winner and each guest for each SOO game upto a total value of $460 for all 3 games.
A merchandise pack for the Winner and each guest containing a team jersey, a team cap, a Coates NRL scarf upto a total value of $960.
The total prize value for this competition is up to $18,500.
The Promoters may engage third party providers to assist in completing fulfillment of the prizes including airline carriers, hotels and stadiums where the SOO games may be held. Should Government or airline travel restrictions and requirements, or conditions of stadium entry require passengers or patrons to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and the Major Prize Winner and/or their guest be unable to comply with such conditions, then the Major Prize Winner’s prize will forgo the major prize and instead will receive a replacement prize of a total of $5,000 in cash.
9. FORCE MAJEURE
a) The Promoters shall not be held liable for failing to perform obligations under these terms and conditions should such failure be triggered by a force majeure event. A force majeure event is a cause beyond the control and without the fault of the Promoters which cannot be prevented or avoided including riot, act of God, war, terrorism, embargo, flood, fire or explosion, Commonwealth, State or Territory Government order including health orders, Commonwealth, State or Territory Government lockdown, epidemic or pandemic.
10. MISCELLANEOUS
The Promoters reserve the right to amend the competition and its terms and conditions at any time and for any reason, including due to changes in laws and regulations and will notify entrants of any such amendments as soon as reasonably practicable on the competition landing page. It is the entrant's responsibility to regularly check the competition landing page for any amendments.
If the Promotion is not capable of running as planned including by reason of technical failure, fraud or any cause beyond the Promoters’ control, the Promoters may cancel or suspend the Promotion or invalidate any affected entries, to the extent permitted by law.
The Promoters do not accept responsibility for any entries that are delayed or which are not received for any reason during the Competition Period.
The winners must ensure the prizes are not used in a manner that may bring the Promoters and either Promoters’ brands into disrepute.
Winners may have rights under the Australian Consumer Law and other similar legislation which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified by the Promoters. These terms and conditions do not exclude, restrict or limit those statutory rights in any way. However, to the extent that it is permitted to do so by law, the Promoters (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability whether arising in tort (including without limitation negligence), contract or otherwise for any personal injury or any other loss or damage (including without limitation loss of opportunity or loss of profits) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the competition, including, without limitation:
any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoters’ control);
any theft, unauthorised access or third-party interference;
any entry that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoters) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoters;
acts or omissions (including negligent acts or omissions) of the Promotors servants or agents involved in the conduct of this Promotion who are acting outside their authority as agent of one or both of the Promoters,
any variation in market value to that stated in these terms and conditions;
any tax implications; or
the use of the Prizes.
As a condition of entry, each entrant must sign any legal documentation as, and in the form, required by the Promoters and entities associated with the Promotion and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including, but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.

Failure by the Promoters to enforce any of their rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
By participating in this Promotion, Eligible Entrants release and hold harmless the Promoters from any and all liability associated with this competition, to the extent permitted by law (in which case that liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law).
