Inspired by one of the most beloved British family films of all time, The Railway Children Return is an enchanting, moving, and heart-warming adventure for a new generation.
Set in 1944, during the second world war, as life in Britain’s cities becomes increasingly perilous, three evacuee children – Lily, Pattie and Ted Watts – are sent by their mother from Salford to the Yorkshire village of Oakworth. There at the railyard they discover injured American soldier, Abe, hiding out, sending them on a dangerous quest to assist their new friend who, like them, is a long way from home.
The Railway Children Return, is rated PG for mild themes and violence. Arriving in cinemas from September 15.
