The Art Prize showcases the work of hundreds of artists to raise awareness for the irreplaceable Park Lands, which garland Adelaide city.

We invite all artists nationally and internationally to be inspired to make a statement on, or capture the essence of, your Park Lands.

The Adelaide Park Lands Art Prize is a non-acquisitive art prize open to artists of any age, working in any media or style – to make a statement or capture the essence of your Park Lands.

Finalists Exhibition
Selected 70-100 finalist artworks will be on display for six weeks at our premium venue.

The finalists’ exhibition provides an opportunity for artists to display their art and captivate a new audience, growing artist profiles, and raising awareness for your Park Lands.

All Works For Sale
All finalist’s works are for sale at the Exhibition and Online gallery from March to May 2023. Proceeds support artists and contribute to the Adelaide Park Lands Association’s efforts to preserve and improve your Park

Each artwork requires a separate entry and payment of AUD $50
Use of Your Email Address
Your email will be added to a private Entrants mailing list as a requirement of entry.
Your email will be added to the APA bi-monthly magazine as a requirement of entry. Some of these emails contain public information about the Art Prize.
Each Entrant must use a unique email address.
Artist Details
Artists 25 years or under will be eligible for the APA Young Artist Prize and eligibilty is limited to only one other prize. If eligible, please provide your year of birth.
If a commercial gallery represents you, write the name of the gallery to be credited if you are selected as a finalist. Otherwise, leave blank.
Group Submission Details (only applicable if artwork is attributed to more than one artist)
All artists in the group will be acknowledged equally in the exhibition catalogue of finalists and exhibition wall text.
If a group artwork is a winning entry, prize money will be paid to the nominated artist who will be responsible for distributing the prize money to the other artists in the group.
Please select one person to represent the group. Have the nominated artist fill out the "Artist Details" section with their own contact details. The nominated artist also takes responsibility for the authorisation and payment of the submission to the art prize.
All correspondence in relation to this entry will only be sent to the nominated artist.
All additional artists' names should be entered into the "Additional Artist Names" field. First name, then last name. Each artist is separated by a comma.
