Held at NGV International, the NGV Gala offers guests exclusive access to the Alexander McQueen: Mind, Mythos, Muse exhibition and the chance to experience the NGV as never-before – with visually stunning installations, experiential zones and performance spaces. Enter the world of one of fashion’s most extraordinary designers.

 

Alexander McQueen: Mind, Mythos, Muse is the first major exhibition in Australia to look at one of fashion’s most highly original designers.

 

This exhibition, drawn from the rich holdings of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Los Angeles and the NGV, pairs fashion alongside art from a multitude of mediums, eras and cultures to explore the encyclopaedic influences, existential themes and technical mastery behind McQueen’s designs. Acclaimed key collections will highlight the designer’s sources of inspiration and his narrative approach to fashion, while individual examples from across his career will reveal McQueen’s masterful methods of construction.

Entries open 9.00am AEST on 1 October 2022 and close 11.59pm AEDT on 13 November 2022. Australian residents aged 18 years and over only. Limited to one entry per eligible Vogue VIP member. Winner drawn on 14 November, 2022 at 4.00pm AEDT at News Life Media Pty Ltd, 2 Holt Street, Surry Hills NSW 2010.  Promoter will attempt to contact the winners by telephone within 48 hours of the draw. If contact is not made in that time or the prize remains unclaimed for those 48 hours, this will result in a redraw at 4.00pm AEDT on 17 November 2022. Winners' name to be published within 7 days after the final draw date on Vogue VIP website. There is one prize to be won. Prize is a double pass to attend the NGV Gala Party. The double pass will admit up to 2 adults to attend the NGV Gala Party being held at NGV International on Saturday 10 December, 2022. Total prize pool valued $750. Winners are drawn from entrants who are eligible Vogue VIP members. Ticket terms and conditions apply. Tickets not redeemable for cash and not transferable. Tickets cannot be re-sold. If event is cancelled due to government restrictions and or due to COVID-19, there will be no substitute tickets awarded. Attending the event is at your own discretion in relation to COVID-19.
