Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
The Promoter is Bundaberg Brewed Drinks Pty Ltd (ABN 40 009 781 953) of 147 Bargara Rd, Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia (“Promoter”).
‘Cricket Australia’ means Cricket Australia (ABN 53 006 089 130) of 60 Jolimont St, East Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over and who are subscribed to the Promoter’s Brew Crew database.
Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or stepchild (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
Promotion commences at 10am AEST on 17/10/22 and ends at 11:59pm 07/11/22 AEST (“Promotional Period”).
The winner will be contacted by using the contact details on file with the Promoter, including in writing, within fourteen (14) days of the draw.
The promotional question asked during the Entry Period is “Tell us in 25 words or less, what’s your favourite thing about the summer of cricket?”
To enter the Promotion, the entrant must sign up or be an existing member of the Promoters Brew Crew and post an original and creative answer to the promotional question. Each entrant warrants to the Promoter that any content submitted in their entry is an original creative work of the entrant that does not infringe the rights of any third party. All content must comply with and is subject to the provisions contained in clause 34.
Incomplete and/or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
Only one (1) entry permitted per person.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. The entries received in the Entry Period will be individually judged against all other entries in that Entry Period based on the originality, literary merit and creative merit of the answer provided to the promotional question for that Entry Period. The judges may select additional reserve entries in the Entry Period which they determine to be the next best, and record them in order, in case of an invalid entry or ineligible entrant.
The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
The best entry in the Entry Period, as determined by the judges, will win a prize package for two (2) adults which consists of the following:
return economy class flights from winners’ closest capital city to Melbourne;
return car transfers from Melbourne airport to hotel;
two (2) nights standard twin share accommodation in Melbourne (minimum 3-star accommodation), checking in on 25/12/22 and departing 27/12/22;
two (2) tickets to Day 1 of the Boxing Day Cricket Test on 26/12/22 in the Melbourne Cricket Ground Signature Dining hospitality area;
24 pack of 375ml Bundaberg Ginger Beer.
All reasonable attempts will be made to contact the winner. If for any reason a winner does claim the prize by 10am AEST on 01/12/22, then the prize will be forfeited.
If any prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize equal to the value and/or specification.
Total prize pool value is AUD$4,800.00 pending on date and exact point of departure.
Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
If the winner is from Victoria, they will forfeit the flight and airport transfers components of the prize and must make their own way to and from Melbourne.
Travel itinerary will be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
If a winner if unavailable or unwilling to travel on the dates specified by the Promoter to coincide with the Boxing Day Test on 26/12/22, they will forfeit their right to the Prize and will not be awarded cash or any other alternative in lieu.
The prize is subject to booking and flight availability.
Frequent flyer points will not be awarded and do not form part of the prize.
Spending money, meals, insurance, vaccinations, transport to and from departure point, transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs, unless otherwise specified in the prize description herein, are not included.
The winner and travel companion are responsible for ensuring that they have valid vaccinations (if required) and travel documentation.
Subject to the terms and conditions of the participating prize provider(s), if for any reason the winner does not, once the prize has been booked, take the prize (or an element of the prize) at the time stipulated, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash.
The winner may be required to present their credit card at check in.
Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers.
The winner and travel companion must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together.
Cricket Australia reserves the right in its absolute discretion to change or amend the International Cricket fixture without notice. Promoter nor Cricket Australia accept responsibility for the cancellation or delay of any cricket match connected with this Promotion for any reason beyond the control of the Promoter or Cricket Australia.
By entering this Promotion entrants agree to comply, and ensure that each subsequent ticket holder complies, with the ticket conditions which accompany any tickets won in conjunction with the Promotion. Entrants also agree to comply, and ensure that each subsequent ticket holder complies, with Cricket Australia’s Ticket and Entry Conditions dated 15 June 2022 (available at
www.cricket.com.au/tickets) supplemented by conditions of entry imposed by the venue operator. The Promoter will provide every person attending the match as part of the promotion with a copy of Cricket Australia’s Ticket and Entry Conditions dated 15 June 2022 with delivery of the prize tickets.
Entrants agree that they are fully responsible for any materials they submit via the promotion including but not limited to answers to a promotional question (“Content”). The Promoter and Cricket Australia shall not be liable in any way for such Content to the full extent permitted by law. The Promoter may remove or decline to publish any Content without notice for any reason whatsoever. Entrants warrant and agree that: (a) they will not submit any Content that is unlawful or fraudulent, or that the Promoter may deem in breach of any intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights, defamatory, obscene, derogatory,
[Censored]ographic, sexually inappropriate, violent, abusive, harassing, threatening, objectionable with respect to race, religion, origin or gender, not suitable for children aged under 15, or otherwise unsuitable for publication; (b) their Content shall not contain viruses or cause injury or harm to any person or entity; (c) they will obtain prior consent from any person or from the owner(s) of any property that appears in their Content; (d) the Content is the original artistic work of the entrant that does not infringe the rights of any third party; (e) they consent to any use of the Content which may otherwise infringe the Content creator’s/creators’ moral rights pursuant to the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) and warrant that they have the full authority to grant these rights; and (f) they will comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including without limitation, those governing copyright, content, defamation, privacy, publicity and the access or use of others’ computer or communication systems. As a condition of entering this promotion, each entrant licenses and grants the Promoter, its affiliates and sub-licensees a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, and sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish and display their entry (which shall include Content) for any purpose, including but not limited to future promotional, marketing or publicity purposes, in any media, without compensation, restriction on use, attribution or liability.
Entrants consent to the Promoter and Cricket Australia using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter or Cricket Australia.
If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.

The Promoter collects personal information (“PI”) in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. The Promoter will also use and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at
