Australia: We’re celebrating the 2022 Jewish International Film Festival with a ticket giveaway!
Showcasing a star-studded line-up of 52 feature films, documentaries and series bringing to life the best of Jewish culture and stories for the big screen, the broad appeal season of thought-provoking features, awe-inspiring documentaries, and historical reflections will screen from 24th October – 7th December 2022 across Australia, including for the first time, Hobart & the Gold Coast.
Among the many films at this year’s festival: Armageddon Time, an Anthony Hopkins, Anne Hathaway and Jeremy Strong-starring coming-of-age picture from filmmaker James Gray (Ad Astra, The Immigrant); Miyam Bialik’s directorial debut As They Made Us, which marks Dustin Hoffmans first feature film since 2017; Fiddler’s Journey to the Big Screen, a documentary about the making of 1971 musical film Fiddler on the Roof, with narration by the iconic Jeff Goldblum; The Auschwitz Report, an acclaimed true story of escape, survival and heroism, selected as the Slovak entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 93rd Academy Awards; and The Accusation, a stunning French drama featuring an outstanding performance from Charlotte Gainsbourg.
