Competition Period: The Competition opens at 10am (AEST) on Monday, 31
st October 2022
and entries closes at 5pm (AEST) on Wednesday, 1
st February 2023.
Late entries will not be accepted. The winner will be drawn at Treetops
Tavern and live streamed to QA Hotel & The Boathouse Tavern on Friday
3rd February at 7:30pm
Competition Rules: The Promoter and its contractors reserve the right in their sole discretion
to disqualify any participant that does not comply with any part of the
Competition Terms & Conditions. Any participant disqualified is not
eligible to receive the Prize.
Who can enter: To be eligible to win the Prize, you must be:
• over 18 years of age;
• a Queensland resident; and
• have spent more than $10 on drinks or food or $25 in gaming
turnover or swiped their membership card in the members kiosk
at a Participating Venue in a single transaction.
Participating Venue A Participating Venue means either of the following:
• Treetops Tavern located at 7 Executive Dr, Burleigh Waters QLD
4220; or
• QA Hotel located at 64 James Street, New Farm QLD 4005; or
• The Boathouse Tavern located at 101 Dreamworld Pkwy,
Coomera QLD 4209.
How to enter: A Competitor must satisfy the criteria as a person who may enter the
Competition.
Prize: There is one Prize to be won. The Prize is not transferable, and not
redeemable for cash. Only 1 prize can be won per entry.
The Prize is a Toyota Corolla Hatch Ascent Sport 2.0L

Petrol Auto CVT 5 Door, in its original manufactured condition, with no
more than 500kms on the odometer.
The total value of the Prize is $30,535.35, which includes 12 months
registration and CTP valued at $1,676.35.
Draw Date The winner will be drawn at Treetops Tavern and live streamed to QA
Hotel & The Boathouse Tavern on Friday 3rd February at 7:30pm. Once
the Competition has closed a manual draw will be conducted via a virtual
promotional barrel draw through our MAX Gaming Kiosk (maxedraw). The
winner does not have to be present to receive their prize at the time it is
drawn.
Notification Date: The winner of the Competition will be notified by no later than Friday 10th
February 2023 at 5pm.
Notification Means: Winner will be notified via phone and email where possible.
Publication: The winner will be listed on the Fortitudo Group website
https://www.fortitudo group.com.au and on the relevant entities social
media page. Please check the website and the aforementioned social
media pages for details.
Delivery of Prize: The promoter will organise the collection time and date from Southside
Toyota on behalf of the winner and confirm with the winner within 7 days
of the Draw Date.
(a) To be eligible to enter the Competition, you must fall within the criteria in the ‘Who can
enter’ section of the Competition Details Table. You must follow the requirements in
the ‘How to enter’ section of the Competition Details Table and submit your entry into
the Competition during the Competition Period. Entries submitted after the
Competition Period has closed will not be accepted.
(b) The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late entries or for any technical difficulties
experienced by you in submitting your entry.
(c) By submitting your entry, you agree that the Promoter may provide a substitute prize
that is similar to and of the same or greater value than the original Prize.
(d) It is your sole responsibility to ensure the accuracy of the information contained in your
entry, including your contact details. Incorrect or incomplete entries may be
disregarded by the Promoter or entitle the Promoter to conduct a re-draw if you cannot
be contacted as a result.
(e) By submitting your entry, you agree that your entry (including any images captured of
you) becomes the property of the Promoter and you agree that the Promoter may
exploit all intellectual property rights in your entry and do anything to your entry which
may otherwise be an infringement of your moral rights.
(f) The winner of the Competition will be advised by the Promoter on the Notification Date.
Delivery of the Prize will occur per the details in the ‘Delivery of Prize section of the
Competition Details Table. Where the Prize cannot be delivered in accordance with
these terms and conditions within 3 months of the Notification Date (for example, due
to an error in the address details for the winning entry), the Promoter reserves the right
to re-draw the Prize in accordance with the methods contained in these terms and
conditions.
(g) In no event will the Promoter be liable for any claims, damages or losses of any kind,
including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or
in connection with your entry to this Competition. To the maximum extent permitted at
law, the Competition and the Prize is provided on an “as is” basis without warranty of

any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to, implied warranties of
merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
(h) You indemnify the Promoter from any and all claims, losses or liabilities which the
Promoter may incur in the course of or connection with your entrance and participation
in the Competition.
(i) If a provision of these terms and conditions is illegal, invalid, unenforceable or void, it is
severed and the remainder of these terms and conditions has full force and effect and
the validity or enforceability of that provision in any other jurisdiction is not affected.
This clause has no effect if the severance alters the basic nature of these terms and
conditions or is contrary to public policy.
(j) You agree that your rights and obligations under this Competition will be construed,
take effect in accordance with and be governed by the laws of the State of
Queensland, Australia, and you expressly submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the
Courts of Queensland, Australia and of all courts competent to hear appeals from
them.
Collection Notification Statement under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)
As part of your entry to this Competition, you agree to your personal information being collected by the
Promoter and used in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy (which is available from
https://www.fortitudogroup.com.au/privacy-policy-2021 or on request from the Promoter) and the
following Privacy Collection Notification Statement:
(a) the Promoter is the party collecting the information in this form. You can contact us at
64 James Street, New Farm QLD 4005 or write to us at PO Box 1188, Fortitude Valley
QLD 4006.
(b) the Promoter may use the details it collects from you, including any email address you
give to us in relation to your participation in the Competition:
(1) for your entry into the Competition;
(2) to share with our contractors and the provider of the Prize;
(3) for any promotional and publicity purposes; and
(4) unless you notify us otherwise, to send you information and direct marketing
communications about our products, services, events, offers or any other
activities (including third party products, services, offers and events) which we
consider may be of interest to you, and any other purpose described in our
Privacy Policy;
(c) some of the information we ask you to provide may be identified as mandatory or
voluntary. If you do not comply with the conditions contained in the ‘How to enter’
section of the Competition Details Table or the information you provide is incorrect or
incomplete then:
(1) we may not be able to accept your Competition entry, your entry may be
disqualified, you will not be able to enter the Competition, or we may be unable
to deliver your prize if you are a winner; and
(2) we will be unable to send you direct marketing communications (unless you
have consented to such communications through other dealings with us);

(d) we may disclose the information provided by you in relation to this Competition to third
parties that are related to, or affiliated with, the Promoter, such as any organisation as
expressly covered in our Privacy Policy;
(e) unless you notify us otherwise, we may also disclose the information provided by you
in relation to this Competition to members of the Promoter and prize sponsors, so that
they may send you direct marketing communications about products, services, events,
offers or any other activities (including third party products, services, offers and events)
which they consider may be of interest to you
(f) the Promoter’s Privacy Policy (detailed above) also sets out the process as to how you
can access and correct any of your personal information collected in relation to the
Competition as well as to how you can make a complaint in relation to the Promoter’s
handling of your personal information;
(g) in order to manage and facilitate the Competition and for the purposes in paragraph
(b), it is possible that some of the information collected may be disclosed outside of
Australia including to our IT service providers who may utilise data hosting facilities.
You consent to your information being disclosed to a destination outside Australia for
this purpose, and you understand and acknowledge that Australian Privacy Principle
8.1 will not apply to such disclosures of your personal information.
By continuing with your entry into the Competition, you indicate that you have read this
collection statement and acknowledge that your personal information will be collected, used
and disclosed in accordance with this collection notice and as otherwise detailed in our Privacy
Policy and, to the extent it is necessary, that you give your voluntary express consent to the
Promoter to collecting, using, storing, disclosing and disposing of your personal information in
