Kate, an Olympic level archer and her husband, Ash, go on vacation with their daughter to a remote house in a forest. They are subjected to a terrifying home invasion by a team of mercenaries who abduct Ash and her daughter. Kate must use her archery skills to overcome their captors and save her family.
Starring Gillian Alexy (Outsiders, Dirty John, The Americans) and Luke Ford (Animal Kingdom, The Black Balloon), Avarice is the latest slick thriller from Western Australian filmmaker John V. Soto, and he will be in attendance at Reading Cinemas Rouse Hill’s screening at 7.30pm on 8th December 2022 and taking part in a post-screening Q&A.
