Terms and Conditions
1. The Promoter
The Promoter is Ego Pharmaceuticals Pty Ltd (ABN 86 005 142 361) of 21-31 Malcolm Road, Braeside VIC 3195, telephone 03 8766 4100.
2. Terms of Entry
(a) Competition entries can be made from 00.01am AEDT on Thursday 26 January 2023 until 11.59pm AEDT on Wednesday 22 February 2023 through the Promoter’s websites

(c) Entries that are incomplete, illegible or indecipherable will not be valid and will be deemed void.
(d) To be eligible to enter, individuals must purchase any QV Ceramides Product in a single transaction via Chemist Warehouse, My Chemist or E-Pharmacy and provide proof of such transactions in the form of a valid purchase receipt number and entering online via the above website/s.
(e) To qualify for entry the purchase must be made during the promotional period ( January 26th 2023 – February 22nd 2023).
(f) Entrants must retain a copy of their original purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize. Purchase receipt(s) must clearly specify the store of purchase and that the purchase was made during the Promotional Period but prior to entry.
(g) The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
(h) The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries that are lost, stolen, illegible, misdirected or damaged however caused.
(i) Submitting an entry constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
(j) Multiple entries by eligible entrants are accepted, subject to entrants holding multiple proofs of purchase with different valid purchase receipt numbers.
3. Who May Enter
(a) The Competition is open to Australian permanent residents over 18 years of age.
(b) The Competition is not open to:
(i) Employees of the Promoter;
(ii) Parties to whom the Promoter has contracted work in relation to this Competition;
(iii) Parties who are otherwise directly involved with this Competition; and
(iv) Any immediate family members or any of the abovementioned parties.
4. Prize
a) The prize is a 2022 MG MG3 Auto Core car, colour subject to available stock at the time, valued at $18,990 (based on RRV driveway price for Victoria).
b) Total prize pool valued at $18,990 AUD.
c) The car will be purchased from the dealership closest to the winner’s place of residence and the winner will collect the car from the dealership.
d) The prize awarded by the Promoter is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for any valuable consideration, in particular for money. Any attempt to sell the prize or attempt to exchange the prize for valuable consideration, will result in the cancellation of the prize. The Promoter has the sole and absolute discretion to decide such matters.
e) The Prize value is the recommended retail value as provided by the relevant supplier, is in Australian dollars and is correct as at the time of the commencement of the Promotion Period. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the Prize value.
f) Entrants acknowledge that they must comply with the registration and licencing requirements in their State or Territory when taking possession of the Prize.
g) Unless expressly stated as being included in the Prize, all other costs and expenses associated with taking possession of the Prize become the responsibility of Winner, including but not limited to:
a. taxes;
b. vehicle and third party insurance;
c. dealer delivery;
d. all other incidental and ancillary costs incurred by Winner as a direct or indirect result of taking the Prize.
h) The Promoter will do all things necessary to transfer registration and ownership of the Prize to the Winner in accordance with the applicable State or Territory regulations.
i) The Winner must provide any information and cooperation reasonably required by the Promoter to arrange for the Prize to be provided to the Winner, including for the Promoter to arrange for the Prize to be registered in the name of the Winner.
j) All entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions upon claiming a prize.
k) The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this Competition.
l) The promoter is not liable for any claims on the vehicle / injury related to the vehicle once the vehicle has been handed over to the winner by the dealership.
m) If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
5. Selecting the Winner
(a) The Competition winners will be selected by 3.00pm on Thursday 23 February 2023.
(b) The Competition winners will be randomly selected using automated competition drawing software (Draw My Comp, approval no: 949). The Competition will be drawn at 6 Albert Street, Preston VIC 3072 at 3:00pm.
(c) The Competition winners will be notified by SMS or email by 5.00pm Thursday 23 February 2023. Whilst the Promoter will use its best endeavours to contact the winners within the abovementioned time, the decision not to award an entrant who cannot be contacted a prize is at the sole and absolute discretion of the Promoter, and can be made at any time after the Competition winners have been selected.
(d) If within three months after the determination of the winners of the lottery, a prize (other than a prize consisting of perishable goods) has not been claimed by the winner, the promoter must take all reasonable steps to deliver the prize to the prize winner. At the conclusion of the three months if the prize cannot be delivered, the promoter must notify the Office and, subject to the Office’s approval, re-determine the winner of the prize in accordance with any directions by the Office
(e) If the prize is unclaimed, the Promoter will re draw on Monday 3 April 2023 and publish these details on the below sites on Tuesday 4 April 2023:

6. Publication of winner’s details
The Promoter will publish the Competition winners on the following websites on Friday 24 February 2023 and that information shall remain posted there for at least 28 days.

(a) In accordance with the Privacy Act (1988) (Cth), the Promoter notifies entrants that entry to the Competition involves the collection of personal information about entrants, such as their name, address, mobile phone number and email address. This is collected for the purpose of establishing eligibility, carrying out the Competition and notifying the winner. If the information is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the Competition. Entrants’ personal information may be disclosed to State Lottery agencies and winner’ name published as required under the relevant lottery legislation.
(b) Each entrant consents to the Promoter using their personal information provided in connection with their entry, for the purposes of undertaking any investigation in connection with verifying the identity of an entry or any suspected tampering.
(c) Each entrant consents to the Promoter and its authorised licensees using the entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or photograph and voice in the event that they are the winner, in any media for an unlimited period of time, without remuneration or compensation, for the purposes of promoting the outcome of this Competition.
8. Discontinuation of the Competition or Disqualification of an Entrant
(a) Subject to State legislation; The Promoter reserves the right to discontinue the Competition at any time and in its sole and absolute discretion may cancel, terminate or modify the Competition without the need to provide compensation to entrants or attempted entrants.
(b) The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion to verify the validity of entries and entrants and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with (or whom the Promoter reasonably suspects has tampered with) the entry process or the winner selection process or who has otherwise been misleading or fraudulent in the course of the Competition.
9. Exclusion of Liability
(a) The Promoter makes no representation nor provides any warranties as to the quality or suitability of the prizes offered.
(b) The Promoter is not responsible for any losses associated with any change to the value of any prizes.
(c) To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered or sustained by any person or to personal property including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangements for the supply of any goods or services by any person to the prize winner and where applicable, to any person or persons accompanying the prize winner.
(d) The Promoter’s decision on all matters relating to this Competition will be final.
(e) The Promoter is under no obligation to provide reasons for any of its decisions.
(f) The Promoter is under no obligation to engage in any form of correspondence whatsoever with entrants or purported entrants, or their representatives, in any matters relating to the Competition.
