Mother’s Day Competition – Terms and Conditions
1 Information on how to enter and the prize details form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.

3 Entry is open to permanent residents of Australia and New Zealand who are over the age of 18 years old. Permanent and casual employees, contractors and subcontractors, and subsidiary agents of the Promoter, and members of such persons’ immediate families are not eligible to enter the competition.
4 The competition opens at 8:30am AEDT 1 April 2023 and closes at 11:59pm AEST 8 May 2023.
5 To enter the competition to win the prize, Entrants must fill out the web form at

6 Entrants may enter once only and will be automatically entered on receipt of their web form in accordance with clause 5.
7 This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the Winner. The Promoter will judge all entries on their individual merit and select a Winner.
8 Notwithstanding clause 5, incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be ineligible to enter the competition. The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to deem any incomplete or incomprehensive entries ineligible.
9 The Promoter reserves the right to use the content of winning entries for the purpose of future promotions. The right to use granted in this clause includes a right to modify, adapt and exploit the content of the winning entries for use in this competition or any other competition conducted by the Promoter, its related entities or commercial partners. To the extent moral rights exist in the content of winning entries, the right to use extends to a right to use the content in the winning entries without attribution of the author and a right to make any form of modification without first obtaining the consent of the author.
10 The Promoter reserves the right to remove any entry if it deems necessary.
11 The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into with Entrants regarding the decision.
12 Entrants must not include any offensive or inappropriate material in their entries or any material that if used by the Promoter would infringe any third party intellectual property rights. The Promoter reserves the right to invalidate such entries it deems offensive or inappropriate and remove them if it determines necessary.

14 The total prize value is $13,199. Values are in AUD and are correct at the time of printing. The Promoter is neither responsible nor liable for any change in the value of the prize occurring between the publishing date and the date the prize is claimed.
15 The Winner is responsible for any travel associated with claiming or receiving the prize if required. It is the Winner’s responsibility to ensure they possess valid documents required for travel.
16 Once the prize has been claimed by the Winner, no responsibility for the prize will lie with the Promotor.
17 The Winner will be announced on 14 May 2023. The Winner will be notified by email, and announced on
www.tvsn.com.au and
www.tvsn.co.nz thereafter. The announcement will take place at the TVSN Marketing Office: 431 Warringah Road, Frenchs Forest NSW 2086, Australia.
18 If the Promoter becomes aware after an Entrant has won the prize that the Entrant did not comply with these terms and conditions that Entrant will have no entitlement to the prize, even if the Promoter has announced them as a Winner, and that Entrant will be required, at the direction of the Promoter, to return, or refund the prize.
19 If the prize remains unclaimed 1 week after the draw date, then the prize will be forfeited by the original Winner and the Promoter may, at its own discretion, reselect another Entrant on 22 May 2023 as Winner.
20 The prize will be transferred or sent to the Winner within 28 days after being announced and claimed by the Winner.
21 Subject to the relevant state authority approval, if the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize of equal or greater value and/or specification.
22 The Promoter reserves the right to withhold a prize from a Winner if the prize Winner’s TVSN account is in arrears.
23 The Promoter, their associated agents, and companies associated with this competition will take no responsibility for prizes damaged, lost or otherwise delayed in transit.
24 Subject to relevant state authority approval, the Promoter reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of this competition at any time.
25 Subject to relevant state authority approval, the Promoter reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, at any time before the awarding of the prize to cancel the competition or to vary or cancel the award of the prize including, without limitation, circumstances where in the Promoter's opinion (which it shall form in its absolute discretion):
(a) a Winner does not satisfy the competition entry requirements; or
(b) the Promoter cannot conduct the competition or award the Prize for any reason beyond its control.
26 Subject to relevant state authority approval, in the event that the Promoter cancels the competition or varies or withdraws the prize it shall not:
(a) be liable to any person for any loss or damage (including loss or damage caused by any negligence) arising out of, or in connection with, such cancellation, variation or withdrawal; and
(b) be required to conduct the competition at any other time.
27 Entrants enter the competition at their sole risk. With the exception of liability which cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of taking the Prize or entering the competition. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any injury or loss to persons or property as a result of accepting and using the prize, and any insurance provision is the responsibility of the Winner.
28 The Promoter reserves its right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, including but not limited to tampering with the entry process, engaging in any unlawful or other improper misconduct that is calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the competition. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion.
29 The prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. The prize must be taken in its complete entirety or it will be forfeited. If for any reason a Winner does not take the prize or an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited.
30 The Promoter is not responsible for any technical malfunctions or problems with internet or network congestion, including injury or damage to an Entrant’s or any other person's computer related to participation in this competition and problems with transmission of entries over the internet. The Promoter will accept no responsibility for lost, late or misdirected entries. All entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Promoter and not at the time of transmission by the Entrant.
31 Any attempt, deliberate or otherwise, to cause malicious damage or interference with the normal functioning of the Promoter’s website(s), or the information on the Promoter’s website, may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should an Entrant attempt to damage the normal functioning of the Promoter’s website, whether successful or not, the Promoter reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
32 Upon entry into the competition, an Entrant gives permission for the use of personal data and information by the Promoter. This information will be retained in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and TVSN’s Privacy Policy, available at
