Terms & Conditions
This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged, based upon individual creative merit. All entries must be an independent creation by the entrant and free of any claims that they infringe any third-party rights. Entries must not have been published previously and/or have been used to win prizes in any other competitions.
The judges reserve the right to disqualify any entrant submitting an entry which, in the opinion of the judges, includes objectionable content, including but not limited to profanity, nudity, potentially insulting, scandalous, inflammatory or defamatory images or language. The judges’ decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
Entry is opened to Australian residents 16 years and over and entrants must have a valid email address. Employees of the promoter and agencies associated with this promotion (You Know Media and Promotional Partner(S) L’Oréal) are ineligible to enter the competition, as are their immediate families. In the event any prize winner is under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian must accept the prize on the winners’ behalf.
Promotion commences May 15, 2023 Entries close June 10, 2023.
To enter, entrants must register their details at: garniercleanupyourskingame.com, and answer the question: “Tell us in 25 words or less which game skin you want to win and why.” Nominated Game Skins must be linked to G to MA rated games, or games suitable for participants and audiences of all ages. Skins will not be given away for games with AO+ ratings. Winners must have a registered account with the game related to the Skin they’ve nominated to win in their promotion response. There is no responsibility for You Know Media or parties involved to create or pay for the game or anything related to the game outside of the nominated prize. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries.
If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned because of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion subject to any written directions under applicable legislation. The Promoter also reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
There are 40 x prizes to be won during the promotional period, each to a maximum value of $50 (Australian dollars). A prize may be purchased via a game gift card, issued to each winner to the closest value of their nominated Skin and up to a maximum of $50. For example, if a nominated Skin is valued at $20 AU, the winner will be issued a $20 gift card for their nominated game. Skin redemption may come from a voucher or money of the skin’s equivalent amount in games where gifting skins is not possible directly.
The promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend the competition as necessary due to circumstances outside its control.
The prizes are non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash. Any attempt to resell or auction all or any part of this prize will result in an immediate cancellation of the prize.
The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, in connection with the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by laws.
By entering the competition, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these rules.

The information you are asked to provide to the promoter is personal information and is protected by the Privacy Act 1988. The promoter will not disclose this information to other parties other than in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988.
All entries become the property of the promoter and the You Know Media. The promoter may use the entrant’s names and literary pieces for any commercial purpose, including future promotional marketing and publicity purposes. Promotion responses e.g. answers to competition questions etc. may be published in an anonymized format.
In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not accept the prize at the time stipulated by You Know Media then the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.
Entries will be judged by You Know Media daily during the promotional period.
