Entry Method

Entrants may enter the Promotion in either or both of the following ways:
Website Entry
During the Promotion Period entrants must visit the Website, complete the online entry form, register their details in the manner required and answer in 25 words or less the question:

During the Promotion Period entrants must download the Nova Player App, register their details, complete the entry form for the Promotion under the ‘win’ tab in the manner required and answer in 25 words or less the question:

All valid Website and Nova Player App Entries received during the Promotion Period will be individually judged by representatives of the Promoter based on the Judging Criteria.
At various times during the Promotion Period representatives of the Promoter will:
(a) select up to five (5) entrants deemed to have submitted the ‘best’ entries (based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) from all valid entries submitted up until that stage during the Promotion Period (Selected Entrant/s);
(b) invite the Selected Entrant/s to participate in an On-Air Challenge (as described below) at times to be determined by the Promoter (in its absolute and sole discretion) and announced on-air .
For the avoidance of doubt, the Promoter will invite the Selected Entrant deemed to have submitted the ‘best’ entry (based on the Judging Criteria) from all Selected Entrants to participate in the On-Air
Challenge first and will invite the Selected Entrant deemed to have submitted the next ‘best’ entry (based on the Judging Criteria) to participate in the On-Air Challenge on the following day, and so on.
On-Air Challenge
At various times during the Promotion Period:
(a) representatives of the Promoter will have a selection of predetermined trivia questions (Questions);
(b) each Selected Entrant will be asked to answer one (1) Question within a specified period of time (as determined by the Promoter in its absolute and sole discretion);
(c) if the Selected Entrant answers the Question correctly and within the specified time period (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion), they will be deemed a Major Prize winner and awarded a Major Prize and a Minor Prize;
(d) If the Selected Entrant does not answer the Question correctly or does not answer within the specified time period (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion), they will not be deemed a Major Prize winner or be awarded a Major Prize, however they will be awarded a Minor Prize;
(e) If a Question is not answered correctly and no Major Prize is awarded, the next day’s Major Prize will jackpot (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion) by AUD $1,000 until the correct answer is guessed and a Major Prize is awarded or the Promotion ends. The value of that day’s Major Prize will depend on the number of correctly answered Questions from the previous day’s contesting spot during the Promotion Period.
(f) For the avoidance of doubt, all Selected Entrants will receive a Minor Prize. Each Major Prize winner will also be awarded a Minor Prize,
The Promoter may (in its sole and absolute discretion) provide clues and hints to a Selected Entrant during a contesting spot however the Promoter is under no obligation to do so.
9.
Entry Restrictions
Guesses must be made on-air
Entrants may only submit guesses on-air as specified in the Entry Method. Guesses submitted in any other way will be deemed invalid, as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion.
Entrant must answer a call live on-air to win
Each entrant must nominate a personal contact number, either a personal mobile number or home phone number (and not a business number) (Personal Contact Number), to be eligible for a Prize and each entrant grants the Promoter the right to call that entrant on their Personal Contact Number live on-air.
Entrants in the Promotion must be able to receive a phone call from a representative of the Promoter (on their Personal Contact Number) between the following timeframe (or such other time specified by the Promoter) and in accordance with the requirements outlined in the Entry Method:
6:00am and 9:00am AEST on weekdays during the Promotion Period.
If the entrant does not answer their phone by the time that phone goes to a message bank, the entrant consents to the Promoter broadcasting that entrant's voicemail message including their full name and/or business name live on-air. Each entrant warrants that it has obtained all consents from third parties to broadcast live on-air any information or names (including business names) in the entrant’s voicemail message.
Each entrant warrants that they have received all consents from third parties that may ordinarily answer their Personal Contact Number in the entrant's absence to be broadcast live on-air if that third party answers the relevant phone live on-air. If a third party answers an entrant's Personal Contact Number, that entrant will not be eligible for a Prize as determined by the Promoter in its absolute and sole discretion.
Replacing Phone-In and On-Air Entrants
If for any reason an entrant is unable to be contacted, or is otherwise unable to, or declines to, appear on-air, or their phone line drops out or is inaudible, the Promoter (in its sole and absolute discretion) may replace that entrant by contacting/selecting another entrant and inviting them to appear on-air or participate in an on-air game or challenge (where applicable). The Promoter will repeat this process
until an entrant is able to be contacted and confirms their eligibility and ability to appear on-air or participate in the relevant on-air game or challenge (where applicable).
Calling in and speaking to Promoter
For the avoidance of doubt, if an entrant is spoken to by a representative of the Promoter, it does not mean they have been selected as an entrant or a winner (where applicable) and they may not be invited to appear on-air or participate in the relevant on-air game or challenge or be awarded a Prize (where applicable).
Entrant must appear on-air
For the avoidance of doubt, entrants must appear on-air during the Promotion Period to be deemed a winner and awarded a Prize.
10.
Judging

All valid entries will be individually judged by representatives of the Promoter (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) by 5:00pm AEST Thursday 8 June 2023 at the Promoter’s premises. All valid entries will be judged based on the Judging Criteria.
11.
Judging Criteria
Clause 4
All valid entries will be judged (by representatives of the Promoter) on originality, creativity and suitability or as otherwise specified by the Promoter (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion).
Where entrants are required to participate in a challenge or on-air game (if applicable), the Promoter may specify the relevant judging criteria prior to or at the time of the challenge or on-air game.

Minor Prize
There are up to five (5) Minor Prizes to be won, each comprising of: • One (1) x AUD $200 (excl. GST) cash prize.
Major Prize
There are up to five (5) Major Prizes to be won, each comprising of:
• One (1) x cash prize between AUD $1,000 (excl. GST) and AUD $5,000 (excl. GST). The Major Prize amount will be determined by whether or not the previous day’s Major Prize has jackpotted or not (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion).
