Project ‘Make your mark’ invites you (and your creatively minded friends) to create a graphic design, which seeks inspiration from the phrase “sustainability is a journey and not a destination.” The winning design will not only be proudly printed and sold as part of a limited edition t-shirt collection but will also earn the talented designer $5,000 AUD. Ready to make your mark and inspire conversations with your creativity?
World Environment Day | 5th June
World Environment Day plays a crucial role in promoting environmental consciousness, sustainable practices, and long-term environmental stewardship. It reminds us that protecting and preserving our planet is a shared responsibility and a continuous effort.
We firmly believe that art and design have the ability to inspire and spark conversation, so what are you waiting for?
The Why
As a proudly purpose-driven B Corp organisation, we’re committed to helping people reduce their negative impact on the planet, from the bottom up. From the very beginning, our brand has embodied sustainable values, and over the course of the past decade, we have consistently recognised that sustainability is an ongoing journey, rather than a fixed destination.
We keep this mindset when making every decision for the brand and want to encourage the same mindset with our wider community.
At Boody we are big believers in the power of creativity to inspire change. That’s why we’re commemorating World Environment Day with a global design competition.
For your design, we ask that you seek inspiration and springboard from the phrase
"Sustainability is a journey, not a destination"
This phrase reminds us that our actions towards protecting the environment are ongoing, and that every step we take towards sustainability, no matter how small, contributes to the greater goal of protecting our planet for future generations. It's an encouragement to view sustainability not as a one-time achievement, but rather as a continuous process of improvement and growth towards a more sustainable future. It calls on us to stay committed to making sustainable choices and to keep taking steps towards a healthier planet, even if progress may seem slow or incremental.
The Prize
The winning design will not only be proudly printed and sold as part of a limited edition t-shirt collection but will also earn the talented designer $5,000 AUD.
The design will be chosen by a panel of judges consisting of representatives from Boody, industry friends and a community vote for the top 5. The one (1) winner will be contacted before announcement.
