On Friday 23 June at 7pm, Naarm/Melbourne-based duo Close Counters join us at the Triple R Performance Space, celebrating their second album SOULACOASTA II. Hosted by Ennio Styles from Stylin’.

Electro duo Allan McConnell and Finn Rees have enjoyed a wild ride since releasing their cultishly-adored debut LP SOULACOASTA in 2018. With critical cosigns from the likes of Giles Peterson, the pair’s effervescent sound sits at the crossroads of house, neo-soul, broken beat and disco and is increasingly in-demand across the globe. Their latest offering, SOULACOASTA II branches even further into uncharted territory: a colorful sonic journey full of energy for vibrant club floors sculpted to feel like a DJ set in itself.
