Since 1875, the Royal Queensland Show (Ekka) has been bringing the spirit of the country to the heart of the city. Celebrate Queensland’s biggest and most loved annual event when the gates open for the 144th Ekka at the Brisbane Showgrounds from 12 - 20 August.
This year’s Ekka offers something for everyone with agricultural displays, thousands of animals, free family-friendly shows, fashion parades, exciting rides, showbags, some of the nation’s finest food and wine, and the daily EkkaNITES extravaganza featuring fireworks.
Don’t miss the many amazing specials on offer. For the first time ever, there will be daily two for one rides from 9am to 10.30am every morning of Ekka in the B105 Sideshow Alley and Kids Carnival area.
