Terms and Conditions for the City of Melbourne Only in the City eDM Giveaway promotion ('Promotion')
By entering the Promotion you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The Promotion is being run by Melbourne City Council (City of Melbourne), ABN 55 370 219 287, 120 Swanston Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 ('Council') in partnership with AMPR Group, ABN 15 278 449 067, 136 Gwynne Street, Cremorne VIC 3121.
Information about how to participate and details of the prize offered will be published on Council’s What’s On website.
The Promotion will run for 6 days. There will be one prize draw consisting of one prize pack which include multiple gift cards, valued at $2,000. Each experience has unique redemption times and expiry dates. The prize pack includes:

Gift cards and tickets will be sent directly to the prize winner via post or email and can be redeemed by the winner in line with the conditions set by the contributing business.
Employees or immediate family members of an employee of the Council or its contractors are ineligible to enter.
The prizes cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash and are subject to any terms and conditions imposed by each of the contributing businesses. Each prize must be redeemed within the period stated on the voucher. The winner must pay for all purchases that exceed the prize values.
If a winner does not claim their prize within 2 business days after being notified (refer to Clause 13), the prize will be forfeited and a new winner may be chosen or drawn.
The Council reserves the right to alter or amend these terms and conditions at any time and to cancel the Promotion without further recourse to the entrants. No correspondence will be entered into.
Council is not liable for any loss, damage or injury whatsoever suffered by an entrant or third party, including but not limited to, direct or consequential loss, as a result of entering or participating in the Promotion including cancelling the Promotion, or in connection with the redemption or use of any prize.
All entries are the property of Council. Any personal information collected by Council will be treated in accordance with Council’s Privacy Policy.
To enter the Promotion, you must submit a complete and valid entry via Google Forms during the Promotion period as stated in clause 14. You must provide your name, email, mobile phone number and postcode to enter the draw. Data collected via Google Forms is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.
By entering the Promotion, you agree for the Council to use your name and details to contact you for participation in a post-event survey, and you consent to such use. Entrants may direct any request to access their personal information to the Council.
Where you have opted-in on your entry form, the Council will use your name and email address to subscribe you to the What’s On Melbourne newsletter database to notify you of events and activities held within the City of Melbourne, with the ability to unsubscribe from the newsletter database if you no longer wish the Council to retain your details for this purpose. Any information collected will be treated in accordance with What’s On Melbourne’s Privacy Policy.
To be eligible for the Promotion, a valid entry must be received between 12am Tuesday 1 August 2023 and 11.59pm Sunday 6 August 2023. Winners will be contacted by phone and email within two business days of the draw closing.
Entrants must be 18 years or over.
The winner will be selected by chance and must meet all eligibility criteria as stated in clauses 11, 12 and 13 above.
Winners will be drawn on Monday 7 August 2023. The Council’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Council reserves the right to request proof of age and identity of the winner before awarding the prize and if the Council determines that the winner is ineligible, the winner automatically forfeits the prize and a new winner may be selected.
The Council accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries and will determine if an entry is eligible at its absolute discretion with no legal liability.
The Council may change the package prize at its absolute discretion for a prize of approximate equal or greater retail value with no legal liability.
Personal information
You have been asked to provide your full name, email address, mobile number and postcode on the entry form so the City of Melbourne or AMPR Group can contact you if you are a prize winner and for participation in a post-event survey. If this personal information is not provided, you will be unable to participate in the competition.
Full name and email address details provided by unsuccessful entrants will not be disclosed to any other external party without their consent, unless required or authorised by law. If you wish to alter any of the personal information you have supplied to City of Melbourne or no longer wish to participate in the competition, please contact Council via telephone on 03 9658 9658 or email marketing@melbourne.vic.gov.au.
