Win one of ten double passes to Lightscape, the new experience coming to Brisbane’s City Botanic Gardens
Lose yourself in an after-dark oasis of botanical brilliance at Brisbane Festival event Lightscape. From Thursday August 31 to Sunday October 8, the City Botanic Gardens will light up when the sun goes down, becoming a technicolour wonderland of music and light, designed and curated to highlight the park’s unique features. The self-guided tour takes you on a 2-km trail under glowing tree canopies filled with colour, through sparkling tunnels of shimmering light, and alongside neon roots bursting from the undergrowth – made all the more spellbinding with the trickling of soundscape throughout.
Presented by Brisbane Festival and Sony Music Entertainment, Lightscape will mark its Queensland debut and feature First Nations-led projections from local artists among leading international talent. Make a night of it and gather friends for pre- and post-trail tipples and eats from a selection of onsite food and beverage offerings. Session times start from 5:45 pm in 15-minute intervals and are an anticipated 90-minute journey.
