The Promoter is Ardent Leisure Limited (ABN 22 104 529 106) trading as Dreamworld and is located at Dreamworld, Dreamworld Parkway, Coomera, QLD, 4209.
The promotional period commences on Wednesday 30 August 2023 and ends at 3:00pm AEST on 8 October 2023. Entries must be received by the Promoter during this period.
Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 and over only.
The directors, management and employees of Dreamworld, WhiteWater World, SkyPoint, Dreamworld Night Market and their immediate relatives (including partner, children, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousin, or siblings) are ineligible to enter the competition.
To enter, all entrants must:
Visit Dreamworld during the promotional period using valid admission,
Scan the QR code on any promotional tickets they receive, restricted to one (1) entry per QR code
Enter their contact details on the promotional website.
Promotional tickets will be supplied to every guest that enters the park with valid admission during the promotional period, and for each $20 spent by guests on food, beverages, or retail items within participating Dreamworld outlets.
Guests under the age of eighteen (18) are not eligible to enter this competition, however a promotional ticket/s will still be supplied to an eligible adult entrant accompanying that under-age guest in respect of their entry to Dreamworld and/or in-park spend, and such eligible adult entrant may enter the competition with that promotional ticket/s as set out above.
Participating Dreamworld outlets include Main Street Emporium, Surf Central, Tiger Bazaar, Candy Nut & Fudge, DreamPix Photos, Fairytale Treasures, Motocoaster Pit Stop Shop, Koala Photos, Jelly Belly, Food Central, Green Bean Coffee Co., Kenny’s Fried Chicken, Ice Cream Parlour, The Sandwich Shop, Churros Stand Prestos Training Café and Barrels Burger Bar.
Items purchased from vending machines, the Dreamworld LEGO® Store, Hair Wraps, Carnival Games, Pete’s Portraits, Face Painting and the Dreamworld Night Markets are excluded from the promotion.
There are forty-one (41) prizes to be won as part of this competition, including the following:
Forty (40) Minor prizes: each day during the promotional period one daily winner will be drawn at random to receive the opportunity to step into Dreamworld’s Cash Grab machine and catch ‘Dreamworld Dollars’ during a 30 second timeframe. “Dreamworld Dollars” will be exchanged on a dollar-for-dollar basis. (Prizes over $400 will be transacted over EFT and payment received in 7-10 business days. Prizes $400 and under can be exchanged for legal tender cash on the same day immediately following the cash grab.)
One (1) Major prizes: drawn at random on the final day of the promotional period (8 October 2023), one final prize winner will receive:
> a 2023 Toyoya Hilux inclusive of dealer delivery, statutory charges and on-road costs valued at $67,845, PLUS
> two (2) Yamaha jet skis and a jet ski trailer (inclusive of registration delivery) valued at $40,200.
The promotional vehicle displayed in Dreamworld is not the actual vehicle that the winner will receive. The winner will need to engage directly with Old Mac Toyota Coomera to discuss any vehicle specifications. Such specifications will be subject to dealer availability and discretion and may affect timing of delivery. Any specifications that increase the price of the vehicle must be paid for by the winner and not the promoter.
The promotional jet skis and trailer displayed in Dreamworld are the actual jet skis that the winner will receive. Dreamworld will arrange delivery to the winner’s residential address within Australia.
Total competition prize pool is valued at $148,045.
This competition is a Category 4 trade promotion, and the selection of the winners will be made randomly.
The minor prize winners will be selected at Dreamworld Parkway, Coomera QLD 4209 at 2.30pm: daily during the promotional period from valid promotional entries issued for that day only. The major prize winner will be selected at Dreamworld Parkway, Coomera QLD 4209 at 2.30pm on Sunday the 8th of October 2023 from valid promotional entries received during the promotional period. The winners will be notified by announcement and by mobile and will need to be present in Dreamworld’s Main Street at 3:00pm in order to claim the prize, otherwise they forfeit that prize and a redraw of that prize will occur and the next winner will be contacted. The selection of the winners is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
The major prizes cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss).
The promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these conditions of entry, or if the entrant is engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
By entering this competition, you consent to the collection of your personal information by or on behalf of Dreamworld for the primary purposes of enabling it to administer the promotion and publicise its winner(s) and to market its products to you. The personal information of each winner may be provided to others assisting in the conduct of the promotion, including the promotion administrator, prize suppliers and deliverers, and to regulatory authorities. The collection and use of your personal information, including requesting access or corrections to it, shall be in accordance with our Privacy Policy. If you do not provide accurate personal information, Dreamworld may determine that you are not eligible to win a prize.
