The 2023 Cunard British Film Festival features a spectacular line-up celebrating Britain's finest filmmakers and actors. A number of exclusive premieres of highly anticipated films, as well as a fabulous selection of dramas, documentaries and comedies, will wow cinema-goers. Opening the festival is the Australian premiere of One Life, based on a moving true story of kindness and compassion that was almost forgotten for 50 years. Sir Anthony Hopkins delivers a commanding performance as Sir Nicholas Winton, a stockbroker also known as the "British Schindler" who helped rescue hundreds of children from Europe on the verge of WWII. The festival screens nationally at Palace Cinemas, Nova Palace in Adelaide and Luna Palace Cinemas in Perth from November 1-29. Tickets on sale early November.
