Entry Requirement
Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over.
Participation is required to use an electronic device which can read QR code and visit websites.
Participant has a mobile phone for contacting.
The prize draw is not open to: employees, contractors, partners, related entities, affiliates or agents of the Promoter.
The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the competition. The Promoters legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
Competition Period
The competition will run from 11:01 AM on 14 November 2023 (the “Opening Date”) to 11:59 PM on 25 December, 2023 (the “Closing Date”), Sydney Local Time. Entries received outside this time period will not be eligible to win any prizes.
Participating Stores
The competition will take place in participating Gong cha stores in Australia.
Entry Instructions
To enter, you must follow these steps during the Competition Period:
1. Purchase a drink at a participating Gong cha store and collect your Win a Magical Holiday to London QR code.
2. Scan the QR code and open the link. The link is unique to your purchase.
3. The link will display an Entry Form with a list of the Entry Code(s).
4. Fill out your mobile number and submit the Entry Form.
5. Keep a screenshot once the Entry Form is submitted(optional)
Entry Code & Bonus Entries
For any purchase of a Gong cha drink or Gingerbread Man Bottle (without a drink) at a participating Gong cha store, you will receive one (1) Entry Code.
For any purchase of a Gong cha Gingerbread Man series drink at a participating Gong cha Store, you will receive an additional two (2) Entry Codes.
One Entry Code is equivalent to one Entry.
Prize Draw
The major draw will be held at 3:00 PM on 28 December 2023, Sydney Local Time, at the Promoter’s Principal Address. Suite 902, 368 Sussex St, Sydney, NSW 2000, Australia.
The draw will be performed by a computer process, which will pick an Entry Code randomly, and the process will be used to run multiple times to pick multiple Entry Codes . The first picked Entry Code will be the Entry Code for the First Prize, so on so forth.
First Prize – One (1) Winner: Magical Holiday To London:
Inclusion:
Return economy flight tickets for two from the nearest Australian capital city to London (value up to $6400)
$500 spending money for transfers and meals
Wonka-inspired afternoon tea (value up to $300)
7 nights of shared hotel accommodation (value up to $3500)
The prize is not available during UK or Australian Public or National holiday periods and is not valid between 20 March 2024 and 10 April 2024.
Travel must be completed by 12 December 2024. All elements are subject to availability at the time of booking.
Travel dates must be confirmed within 45 days of notification.
The Winner must be over 18 years of age.
The winner must provide bank details for EFT transfer for the $500 spending money.
Accommodation is based on two (2) people sharing a room.
A valid credit card must be presented at hotel check-in for incidentals.
Tickets for Flight, Accommodation, Entertainment, and so forth are non-transferable (i.e. no name changes allowed). Once tickets are issued, they are non-endorsable and non-transferable. Any alterations to confirmed flights and/or accommodation details will be at the expense of the Winner.
All components of the prize must be fulfilled at the same time, and they cannot be split across different time periods.
Flights are economy class and may be indirect. The airline’s Conditions of Carriage apply to all flights. The Winner and travelling companions must travel at the same time and are responsible for transport from their residence to their nearest Capital City Airport in Australia.
The Winner and their travelling companions will be responsible for making their way to and from their departing Australian airport.
Airline, flight route and dates of travel are subject to the promoter’s absolute and final decision.
The winners and travelling companions travel at their own risk.
The winner must obtain their own travel insurance, and proof of insurance must be provided before tickets are issued.
The winner is solely responsible for obtaining all visas, permissions and other documentation required for entering and staying in the UK and shall provide to Flight & Accommodation Broker evidence of such confirmed visas, permissions, as well as all other required travel documentation, no later than forty-five (45) calendar days of the winner being notified of their win.
Once the winner has provided their details and the Flight and Accommodation Broker has confirmed receipt of such details, any alterations to confirmed flights, accommodation and/or scheduling arrangements will be at the expense of the winner, including an administration fee of $250, excluding GST, which must be settled in full prior to booking confirmation.

Second Prize Two (2) Winners: 3 months worth of Gong cha (valued at $650 Gong cha gift card)
Inclusion:
One (1) $650 Gong cha gift card
The prize will be mailed to the respective winner at their designated address in Australia.
The Promotion will not be responsible for losing the gift card once the gift card is transferred to a carrier.
Third Prize – Ten (10) Winners: 1 Double Pass to see Wonka
Inclusion:
One (1) double pass Wonka movie ticket
The prize will be mailed to the respective winner at their designated address in Australia.
The Promotion will not be responsible for losing the gift card once the gift card is transferred to a carrier.
If the Wonka movie is not available at the time of the winner announcement, a generic movie double pass will be substituted for the Wonka movie double pass.
Prizes in General
This Prize(s) has no cash alternative is non-transferable and non-refundable.
Should The Promoter not be able to offer the Prize(s) and it is beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute the Prizes (or any part of the Prizes) with an alternative of similar value.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any cost associated with the Prizes not expressly included above. The prize winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes, including customs duty, levies, and any taxes imposed on their income.
Publication of winner details and unclaimed prizes
The winners will be notified by phone calls on 5 January 2024 and in writing within three (3) business days of the draw to be provided further details as to how they will claim their Prize.
Confirmation should be returned within 15 Calendar Days in writing to
marketing@gongchatea.com.au with “Confirmation of winning for the Wonka’s Journey to London Prize Draw” in the subject line.
If a confirmation is not received in time, the respective Prize is deemed Unclaimed.
Unclaimed Prizes
Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited, and redraw may be taken at the Promoter’s discretion.
Should the Promoter determine to take a redraw for the Unclaimed Prizes, the Redraw will be held at 3:00 PM on 5 February 2024 Sydney Local Time, at the Promoter’s Principal Address. Suite 902, 368 Sussex St, Sydney, NSW 2000, Australia.
Cancellation clause
If, for any reason, the competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer viruses, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event that naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders its determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, civil unrest, strikes, and war; the Promoter may cancel the event and recommence it from the start on the same conditions at a later date, subject to Regulatory Approval.
If, for any reason, any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including war, terrorism, state of emergency, pandemic, or any other kind of disaster, tampering or computer virus, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel , terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or suspend, substitute or modify a prize, subject to Regulatory Approval.
