TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
99 Bikes Green Team 2024 Competition
The Promoter
The Promoter is 99 Bikes Pty Ltd ABN 87 123 966 665 of 66 Abbotsford Road, Bowen Hills Qld 4006. (“Promoter”).
Conditions of Entry
Information about the Prize and how to enter forms part of these terms and conditions of entry. Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions of entry by each entrant.
Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or older, who enter the promotion in the required manner as stated in these terms and conditions ("Eligible Entrants").
Employees of 99 Bikes Pty Ltd, its related bodies corporate, suppliers, agencies, licensees, and their immediate families are not permitted to enter.
DURATION OF THE PROMOTION
The promotion will commence at 9am AEST on Monday 8 January 2024 and will continue until 11:59pm AEST on Sunday, 28 January 2024. ("Promotion Period").
HOW TO ENTER
Eligible Entrants may enter the competition by going to
www.99bikes.com.au and completing the entry form as per the instructions to go in to the promotion.
Entries will be deemed to be accepted at the time of the Prize Winner selection.
Maximum one (1) entry per Eligible Entrant.
Entries received will be considered final by the Promoters. Entries which are incomplete, inaccurate, erroneous, illegible, inappropriate, offensive or incomprehensible or which infringe intellectual property rights will be deemed invalid.
Entries must be received by the Promoters during the Promotion Period. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries.
Any costs associated with accessing the promotion are the responsibility of each entrant and are dependent on the Internet Service Provider used.
When entrants enter the competition, they are agreeing to receive email marketing from the Promoter.
The Promoter takes no responsibility for any variation in the value of the Prize.
If the Promoter is unable to provide the Prize Winner with the nominated Prize, the Promoter reserves the right to supply an alternative Prize of similar monetary value.
If the Prize Winner does not accept any element of the Prize, the Promoter is not obliged to provide the Prize Winner with a substitute Prize.
PRIZES DETAILS
Each winner will receive one prize pack consisting of:
One Electric Bike chosen by 99 Bikes from the brands Merida, Pedal, Cube and Velectrix

Hiplok DX with 2M Cable Lock
Bike Lights - Lightset Ravemen CR600+TR20
A 99 Bikes Service Plan linked to the bike received by the winner - 12 months of mechanical support. Unlimited labour and 10% off parts*. Linked to one specific bike. Mechanical support cannot be transferred to a different bike or owner. Any service labour will need to be booked in with the workshop. *10% off Club 99 Price for parts.
The total Prize value for this promotion is up to AUD$5425 depending on bike model.
The Prize Winners must take the Prize as offered. The Prize is not transferable, redeemable, refundable, and cannot be sold or exchanged for cash. The Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. 99 Bikes will decide what prize pack each winner receives.
For the avoidance of doubt, the Prize does consist of anything other than expressly set out in the conditions above. All expenses and use of the prize are solely the responsibility of the winner and, as applicable
VALIDITY & CONDITIONS
Prize is subject to availability, not transferable, changeable or redeemable for cash. A substitute electric bike will be provided if the mentioned bikes are out of stock.
Prizes are strictly NON-TRANSFERABLE, non-negotiable, may not be replaced or refunded and cannot be taken as cash. No cash refund or reimbursement allowed if the prize is not utilised.
Prize winners must collect their prize from their local 99 Bikes store location before the 99-day riding period starts.
SELECTION OF PRIZE WINNERS
There will be 9 prize winners (“Prize Winners”).
Prize winners will be selected at the discretion of 99 Bikes.
Prize winners will be announced before Friday, 9th February 2024 at 99 Bikes Head Office, situated at 66 Abbotsford Road, Bowen Hills QLD 4006.
The prize winners will be notified by telephone and emailed a letter detailing their prize. Details of the prize will be sent out to the prize winner no later than Friday, 2nd February 2024.
Prize winners will be selected at the discretion of 99 Bikes.
The prize winners’ details will be published on 99 Bikes website no later than Friday, 9th February 2024.
The Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result of the Prize Draw.
The Prize Winner will have until 5:00pm AEST on Wednesday, 7th February 2024 to claim the Prize.
If any Prize has not been claimed by the Prize Winner, a new winner will be selected at 9:00am AEST on Thursday, 8th February 2024 ("Unclaimed Prize").
The winner of the Unclaimed Prize will be notified via phone and email (using the contact details for the winner of the Unclaimed Prize in the Promoter’s records) the same time and day of the Unclaimed Prize Draw.
The Promoter can accept no responsibility for entries delayed, misdirected or undelivered. Incomplete entries will be disqualified. The Promoter shall not be responsible for technical errors in telecommunications networks, Internet access or otherwise preventing entry to any competition.
The Promoter reserves the right to terminate the competition and withhold the Prize in the event that, in the Promoter's opinion, there are insufficient entries for the Promoter to be able to select a Prize Winner or where, in the Promoter’s opinion, improper conduct by an entrant (or any number of them) has rendered the competition unfair to all entrants. The Promoter’s decision is final with respect to any aspect of the competition, including the determination of any Prize Winner. No correspondence will be entered into.
NO LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible or liable for:
inaccurate / incorrect transcription of entry information;
purported entries that are not received for any reason, including because they are lost, misdirected or stolen, or that are received, but are late, illegible, incomplete, or made other than as directed in the entry instructions;
any problems or technical failures of any kind, including malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems or network, servers or providers, computer equipment, or software;
the unavailability or inaccessibility of any service whether or not caused by traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website;
unauthorised human intervention in any part of the competition;
electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the competition;
any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its employees, offices, contractors or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to a prize winner and, where applicable, to any family/persons accompanying a winner; or
any injury or damage to persons or property, including to the participant's or any other person's computer related to, or resulting from, participation or downloading any materials in this competition.
The Promoter will not be liable for personal injury suffered as a result of prize winnings. The prize winners, and his or her guests (if any), must sign and return any liability release and indemnity provided by the Promoter and/or its representatives as a condition of a prize being awarded. Failure to return the signed releases and indemnities will result in the entitlement to the prize being forfeited and the selection of another winner.
These conditions do not affect, and are not intended to affect, any rights a consumer might have, which cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability of the Promoter or its employees, offices, contractors or agents for breach of any such rights is limited to the payment of the cost of having the prize supplied again.
GENERAL
By entering this competition entrants are agreeing to the Prize Winner Commitments:
Riding at least 3 (three) days per week for a period of 99 (ninety-nine) days, starting on Monday, 19th February and ending on Tuesday, 28th May 2024. Dates may be moved due to unforeseen circumstances.
Recording all your rides via your smartphone with the Strava app and by joining the 99 Bikes Green Team Strava Group.
Provide 99 Bikes with 8 video updates over the course of the 99 days. Full details of the video content required will be provided to the selected riders prior to being announced as a Green Team Member.
While riding you are expected to adhere to all road and cycling laws.
Prizes will be awarded to the prize winners on a loan basis for 99 days and ownership of the prize will be transferred to the prize winner after the 99-day period provided they adhere to the prize winner commitments. Failure to do so will result in returning the prize pack to your local 99 Bikes store.
The personal information of entrants will be collected to enable the Promoter to administer and promote this promotion and to contact the Prize Winner (or, if applicable, the winner of an Unclaimed Prize Draw). Entrants agree that the Promoter may handle their personal information in accordance with the Promoter's privacy policy, which is available at:
https://www.99bikes.com.au/terms-and-conditions/privacy-policy. Entrants agree that the Promoter may use their personal information for marketing purposes. If an entrant does not truthfully provide all requested personal information, the Promoter may determine that they are not eligible to win the Prize.
Any personal information held by the Promoter and/or the Promoter in respect of any competition will be held on record for a reasonable period to fulfil the purpose for which such personal information was collected. If an entrant gives the Promoter permission to pass on their personal information to a third party then this shall no longer be the responsibility of the Promoter and shall be subject to the privacy policy of that third party.
The Prize Winner consents to the use of their name, suburb of residence, image, audition video and social media name or handle for promotional and marketing purposes. The personal information of the Prize Winner may be provided to others assisting, including Prize suppliers and deliverers, and to authorities that regulate this promotion.
All entrants who submit any entry to the Promoter: (a) grant the Promoter and its licensees and assignees a non-exclusive licence to exercise all rights in perpetuity throughout the world in the entry material and all other material provided by the entrant to the Promoter pursuant to this promotion at any time; and (b) represent and warrant that the exercise of the rights granted to the Promoter in these terms and conditions will not infringe the rights of any third parties; and (c) indemnify the Promoter against any loss or damage resulting from any breach of the foregoing representation and warranty.
Any personal information held by the Promoter and/or the Promoter in respect of any competition will be held on record for a reasonable period to fulfil the purpose for which such personal information was collected. If an entrant gives the Promoter permission to pass on their personal information to a third party then this shall no longer be the responsibility of the Promoter and shall be subject to the privacy policy of that third party.
By entering this competition entrants agree to allow the Promoter to repost their entry/submission on the Promoter’s Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn accounts, the Promoter’s website and blog within the Promoter’s electronic direct mail (eDM) communication pieces.

unauthorised human intervention in any part of the competition;
