Entry is open to Australian residents only. Employees of Allen & Unwin Pty Ltd, anyone else connected to Allen & Unwin, and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
Eligible people (Entrants) who enter online, detailed below, will be eligible to win. One (1) entrants will be selected as the winner, receiving a set of books for their book club receiving twelve (12) copies of Whenever You're Ready by Trish Bolton and one limited edition print of the original artwork featured on the cover by artist Melanie Vugich. The total prize value is AUD $560.00.
To enter, a person must answer the question: For your chance to win, tell us what's been your favourite book to discuss in book club and why? Only one (1) entry per person is allowed.
The entry submitted will be taken as the Entrant’s acceptance of assigning all rights and interests including but not limited to copyright and all other intellectual property rights of the Entrant’s to Allen & Unwin. Allen & Unwin reserves the right to edit or alter the Entrant’s submission.
Books are not permitted for sale.
No portion of the prize is redeemable for cash.
The competition commences 09:00 (AEDT) on 18/03/2024. Entries close 23.59 (AEDT) on 15/04/2024 (the Competition period). The competition commencing and closing dates are final. Any entry received after that date will be ineligible. Entry by any person will be taken as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Judgement of all entries will be conducted at the Promoter’s office on 16/04/2024. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The prizes will be awarded to the entrants who, in the opinion of the judges, provides the best answers to the question on the competition form.
The winners will be contacted via email by 22/04/2024 and be asked to provide their postal address ONLY. No other information will be requested from the winners.
If this prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to select an alternative prize of similar value which will be awarded to the relevant winner/s, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
Entrants for this competition will not be contacted on any social media channel or sent a friend request.
Winners will only be contacted via the official Allen & Unwin email as detailed in the terms and conditions. Allen & Unwin may conduct such further judging as is necessary on 1/05/2024 in order to distribute any prizes unclaimed by that date, or if the original winners are deemed ineligible. If rejudging is required, the winner/s will be notified by e-mail.
