Must be 18 years or older. Entry to this competition is NOT allowed by employees, contractors, or associates of the Promoter. Entry to this competition is NOT allowed by any person who is currently working as a professional dancer or been renumerated by way of employment or contract for any performance where dancing formed part of that engagement.
How to Enter
If you think you can dance - Eat Street wants you to be their next big star. We're looking for a Duo (2 people) who can make a 3-minute video showing off your best "dance shuffle" to your favourite track.
• Email all entries to
info@eatstreetnorthshore.com.au prior to the closing dates.
• Include in the subject line “Eat Street Wants You To Dance and <your name>”.
• Include the full name, address, contact phone number and email address of each person appearing in the video.
• Include either an attachment of your video (no more than 10mb in size) or alternatively provide us with a link so we can download your video.
• Also Tag us at all or either of Facebook, @eatstreetnorthshore, Instagram, @eatstreet & TikTok, @eat_street_northshore.
Prize
The Winning Duo will receive two (2) economy class return tickets with Eva Air, from Brisbane via Taipei to any one of their overseas destinations on Eva Air’s extensive world-wide network. Travel will commence in Brisbane returning to Brisbane and can include a stopover in Taipei in either
direction. All travel must be completed by 6 months after date of ticket issuance.
The Winning Duo will also receive six (6) paid appearances performing at Eat Street to kick start their dancing career. These six performances will need to be completed/performed prior to 31st December 2024. The Winning Duo will be paid a total fee to be negotiated with Eat Street (minimum award wages apply).
How to Win
Our Judge/s will decide on a Shortlist of no more than a total of nine Duos from all entries received.
There will be a total of three Knockout Rounds of judging to take place over three separate Friday nights. Each Knockout Round will include a total of three Shortlisted Duos performing live on stage at Eat Street their original “dance shuffle” (as presented in their competition entry video). One Duo will be chosen by the Judge/s from each of the three Knockout Rounds to advance to the Finals (Finalist Duo).
The three Finalist Duos chosen from the Knockout Rounds will advance to the Final Judging where the Winning Duo will be crowned the competition Winner and takeaway the Prize. The Final Judging will take place on Stage at Eat Street where the three Finalist Duos will perform live, a “dance shuffle” of their choice no longer than three minutes in duration.

• 2nd Knockout Round of Judging – 7.30pm Friday 7th June 2024. Three Shortlisted Duos perform & the 2nd Finalist Duo chosen.
Entries Close for the 2nd Knockout Round on Friday 31st May 2024 at 4pm. The successful Shortlisted Duos will be contacted by email and telephone by 4pm Sunday 2nd June 2024.
• 3rd Knockout Round of Judging – 7.30pm Friday 14th June 2024. Three Shortlisted Duos perform & the 3rd Finalist Duo chosen. Entries Close for the 3rd Knockout Round on Friday 7th June 2024 at 4pm. The successful Shortlisted Duos will be contacted by email and telephone by 4pm Sunday 9th June 2024.
• Final Round of Judging – 7.30pm Friday 21st June 2024
Three Finalist Duos perform & One (1) Winning Duo will be chosen by the Judge/s and announced on the night.
Terms and Conditions
• All live performances in the Knockout rounds and Final Round of judging will be performed on Stage at Eat Street Northshore, 221D Macarthur Avenue, Hamilton QLD 4007. It is the responsibility of all Shortlisted Duos to cover their own costs in relation to attending either or both of the Knockout Round or Final Round of judging as required by the Promotor. If any of the Shortlisted Duos fail to attend either the Knockout Round or Final Round of judging that Duo will automatically be excluded from the competition and thus unable to win the Prize.
• Only one (1) Winning Duo will be chosen in the final round of judging on Friday the 21st June 2024.
• The Judge/s decision is final and cannot be contested.
• All Entrants (Duos) grant permission to the Promotor to use their
name, image, likeness, or statements in any live or recorded audio, video, or photographic display or other transmission, exhibition, publication, or reproduction made of, or at Eat Street without further authorisation from, or compensation to the Entrants.
• The Prize cannot be exchanged for cash or any other benefit in kind.
• The Prize is subject to Eva Air’s Terms and Conditions of Carriage.
• Each Prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be
payable if a Winning Duo is unable to use the prize as stated.
• There can be no changes (name of traveller, travel date, etc) made to travel arrangements once bookings are made.
• Eva Air and Eat Street accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss (including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential loss), liability, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by the Winning Duo in connection with this promotion or the use of any Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
• Eva Air and Eat Street retains the right to substitute the prize with another of similar value in the event the original prize offered is not available due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
• All flight bookings must be made directly to Eva Air via the contact person provided.
• Bookings cannot be made via a third party. By making a booking, the Winning Duo are deemed to have agreed to the terms and conditions of this Prize as well as Eva Air’s terms and conditions of carriage available at
www.evaair.com.
• Eva Air and Eat Street reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions listed at any time without prior notice.
• The Prize does not include anything not listed above. All additional costs and expenses not expressly stated, but which may be incurred by the Winning Duo of and incidental to their acceptance and use of the Prize, are the responsibility of the Winning Duo. Such additional costs and expenses may include but not be limited to, accommodation, meals, beverages, room service, telephone calls, laundry services, spending money, transport to and from airport departure point, other transfers and general transportation, travel taxes including arrival and departure taxes (if applicable), insurance, travel insurance, passports and visas (if applicable), or any other costs of a personal nature.
• Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the Winning Duo.
