Drawing inspiration from the traditional farming practices of the First Australians, the iSeries wines embody a celebration of Aboriginal arts and culture. As part of our tribute to NAIDOC Week, we're excited to offer the chance to win an original artwork.

To participate, all you need to do is purchase a bottle of any iSeries wine online or from your favorite wine store, or enjoy two glasses at any restaurant. Simply keep the receipt and upload it using our competition form below.

Ricardo Jampijinpa Gallagher

Ricardo Jampijinpa Gallagher, born in 2001 near a remote Aboriginal community in Australia, comes from a long line of artists. His grandfather and mother are renowned Warlpiri artists. While attending school in Victoria, Ricardo continues the family tradition by painting for the Warlukurlangu Artists Aboriginal Corporation during breaks. He focuses on his father's "Yankirri Jukurrpa" (Emu Dreaming) stories, passed down for generations. Using a vibrant palette, Ricardo depicts traditional iconography on canvas. This young artist seamlessly bridges tradition with contemporary expression.

SECTION 1: PROMOTION

    Promotion: Chance to win a an original artwork from an artist at Warlu Aboriginal Artis Corporation [AJ1]
    Promoter: Happs PTY LTD Pty Ltd, ABN 25 052 909 083, located at 575 Commonage Road, Dunsborough, Quindalup, 6281, Western Australia.
    Promotion Period: The Promotion will commence on 20 May 2024 to 14 July 2024. All times recorded throughout these Terms and Conditions are in Australian Western Standard Time.


SECTION 2: ELIGIBILITY

4.            Eligibility: To be eligible to enter the Promotion, participants must:

a. be 18 years of age or older;

b. be a resident of Australia;

5. Non-Eligibility: In addition to the criteria for being eligible, persons are not eligible to enter the Promotion or win any Prize if:

a. they are employees, affiliates, or immediate family members of Happs PTY LTD Pty Ltd;

b. they are excluded for any reason from participating in the Promotion.

SECTION 3: ENTRY TO THE PROMOTION

6. Entry: To enter, eligible participants must:

a. Upload proof of purchase for either i) one bottle of iSeries wine purchased from a retailer or ii) two glasses of wine purchased from a restaurant, during the promotional period into the competition platform.

b. Provide all requested contact information on entry.

Maximum Entries: Each participant may submit up to one entry a day.  Only one entry allowed per receipt.

SECTION 4: SELECTION

7. Selection: The selection of the winner will be randomly drawn using a third party software.

8. Prize Winner: The Prize(s) described below in Section 5 will be awarded to the selected Prize Winner.

SECTION 5: PRIZE

9. Prize: An original artwork titled Yankirri Jukurrpa by RICARDO JAMPIJINPA GALLAGHER with dimensions of 76 x 46 cm valued at $500.  Prize includes shipping to any address in Australia.  

10. Prize Conditions: The Prize is subject to the following conditions:

a. No sale, transfer, or exchange of Prize: The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.

b. Ancillary Costs: Any additional costs or expenses associated with the Prize are the responsibility of the Prize Winner.

c. Taxes: If the receipt of the Prize incurs a tax liability, the Prize Winner is solely responsible for any applicable taxes.

d. Prize Terms: The components of the Prize are subject to availability and any separate terms and conditions imposed by third-party providers, if applicable. In the event that any component of the Prize is unavailable, Happs PTY LTD Pty Ltd reserves the right to substitute that component with another of equal value.

SECTION 6: CONTACT AND CLAIM OF PRIZE

11. Contact and Claim of Prize: The Prize Winner will be notified via email within 48 hours after the selection. The Prize Winner must respond and claim their Prize within 5 business days by providing the necessary details requested by Happs PTY LTD Pty Ltd.

12. Non-Compliance: If the Prize Winner fails to comply with the requirements of Section 6, including providing the requested details within the specified timeframe, Happs PTY LTD Pty Ltd reserves the right to forfeit the Prize and select an alternate winner.

SECTION 7: GENERAL CONDITIONS

13. Liability: Happs PTY LTD Pty Ltd will not be held responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or claim arising from the participation in the Promotion or the receipt, use, or misuse of any Prize.

14. Modification or Cancellation: Happs PTY LTD Pty Ltd reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Promotion if circumstances arise that are beyond their control or if they deem it necessary.

15. Governing Law: The Promotion and these rules will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Western Australia.

16. By participating in this competition, participants accept and agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

17. Force Majeure: The Promoter will not be responsible for any forces of nature, acts of God, war (declared or undeclared), riot, explosion, acts of terrorism, labour or industrial dispute including strike, action or inaction of Government, forced or Government imposed closure of the venue or cessation of or interruption to trade and any other acts which are not reasonably within the control of the Promoter which may affect the Promotion. If one or more of these acts occur, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel the Promotion, defer the Promotion to a different date, or change these Terms and Conditions. Any change to the Promotion in these circumstances will be communicated to eligible Entrants as soon as practicable.

18.    Disputes: In the event of a dispute, the decision of the Promoter is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

19.    Privacy Notice: All data collected is administered by Happs PTY LTD. The Promoter may collect entrants’ personal information, including name and contact details, for the purpose of conducting the Promotion, including publicising the results of the Promotion. Uses may also include future promotion, marketing and publicity. By entering this Promotion, each entrant consents to the retention and use of their information in this manner.

20.    Alteration of Terms and Conditions: Subject to approval being granted under Condition 11 of the general conditions attaching to Trade Promotion Lotteries issued by the Gaming and Wagering Commission of Western Australia, the Promoter reserves the right to alter these Terms and Conditions to address any misinterpretation, misinformation or misunderstanding that may arise in the application of these Terms and Conditions, as is permitted by law. The Promoter’s decision will be final.

21.    Acceptance of Terms and Conditions: Participation in the competition constitutes an acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

22.    Disqualification: Any failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions may result in immediate disqualification of an entrant or the Prize Winner. Disqualification will be at the Promoter’s sole discretion and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter will remove any posts that include swearing, derogatory or racist commentary, inflammatory commentary, offensive imagery, imagery or commentary displaying alcohol abuse, imagery including nudity and/or unauthorised commercial communications such as spam.

23.    Cancellation of the Promotion: The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the Promotion at any time prior to the commencement of the Promotion Period for any reason whatsoever.
