battle your way to win a years worth!

Get ready to rumble! We’re calling all dumpling challengers to enter the Dumpling Ring with their wildest, most creative dumpling ideas in celebration of World Dumpling Day. It’s a fight for flavour as we search for the ultimate dumpling to feature on our menu—maybe even as a permanent heavyweight! There are 3 prizes available for our finalists, and you will decide who takes home the crown of 1st place.

HOW IT WILL GO DOWN

    Submit your dumpling champion - Get creative, give your dumpling a name, and tell us what ingredients you’d pack inside in the form below or on our pinned Instagram post (Entries open September 25 and close October 5).

    The winners are crowned - Our Dumpling Masters will pick 3 finalists, and then it’s up to you to vote on our website and crown the ultimate dumpling champion (Voting will be open from October 9-15).

    Win a year’s worth of FREE dumplings - The finalists will receive a shared prize of up to $6000 worth of dumplings that you can share with your friends (or keep all to yourself, no judgment here!) (Winners announced on October 16 on our IG + website):

        1st place ($3000 Dining Voucher + a spot on our menu until the end of 2024)

        2nd place ($2000 Dining Voucher)

        3rd Place ($1000 Dining Voucher)

    See your dumpling on our menu! - Our dumpling masters will bring the winning creation to life, and it’ll be available across all our stores until the end of 2024. (In-stores from October 30)

Enter as many times as you like, and who knows, your dumpling could be the ultimate champion!

Terms and conditions of competition:

    Participants can enter as many times as they like with different dumpling ideas.

    Entry is via an online form on the website or the pinned Instagram post (@orientalteahouse). Online form entries require contact info (email). Instagram entrants must follow the Oriental Teahouse IG and submit their dumpling idea on the pinned post.

    Finalists will be chosen based on creativity, originality and taste by the Oriental Teahouse Dumpling Masters. These will be announced on October 9.

    The winners will be announced on October 16 on our Instagram + website, you will also be contacted by instagram DM or email, depending on entry form. (Only our official @orientalteahouse instagram and email marketing@orientalteahouse.com.au).

    In the case of a tie, our Dumpling Masters will decide based on creativity, quality and taste.

    Prizes:

        1st place ($3000 dining voucher + a spot on our menu until the end of 2024)

        2nd place ($2000 Dining Voucher)

        3rd Place ($1000 Dining Voucher)

    Vouchers are to be emailed to winners.

    Vouchers are issued in $100 amounts, limit of 1 voucher redeemed per visit.

    Vouchers are non-transferable, not redeemable for cash.

    Vouchers are redeemable at our CBD, South Yarra restaurants or Brunswick outdoor eatery (not on UberEats).

    By entering, participants allow Oriental Teahouse to use their dumpling idea & feature the finalists & winning dumpling creations.

    Oriental Teahouse is not responsible for technical issues or lost entries and may modify or cancel the competition if needed.
