By entering this RYOBI Newsletter 200+ promotion ("Promotion”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions, which will at that time, become binding between you and us.
No salesperson, representative or agent is authorised by the Promoter to give any guarantee, warranty or representation in addition to, or contrary to these Terms and Conditions.
The Promoter is Techtronic Industries Australia Pty Limited (ABN 98 002 277 509) of 31 Gilby Road, Mount Waverley VIC 3149, telephone 1300 361 505 and Techtronic Industries N.Z. Limited (NZBZ 942 903 976 1347), of Unit c/70 Business Parade South, East Tamaki, Auckland 2013, telephone 0508 697 9624 (“Promoter”).
Entry is only open to Australian and New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over who are already subscribed, or become subscribers of the RYOBI newsletter during the Promotional Period.
Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, and agencies associated with this Promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, defacto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
The Promotion commences at 9:00AM AEST on 13/09/2024 and closes at 11:59PM AEST on 13/10/2024 (“Promotional Period”). The time of entry will be deemed to be the time the entry is received by the Promoter. No entries will be accepted outside this time.
To enter, individuals must, during the Promotional Period, complete the below steps to subscribe to the Ryobi newsletter. For the avoidance of doubt, individuals that are already subscribers of the Ryobi newsletter at 13/09/2024, still need to complete the form to enter into the promotion. This is a Game of Chance.

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the Promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion.
Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
Only one (1) entry is permitted per person.
If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to request identification documentation from an entrant and/or to determine the identity of the entrant.
This is a game of chance and winners will be selected by lottery.
There will be one (1) draw that is conducted for this Promotion. The draw will take place at Techtronic Industries Australia Pty Limited, 31 Gilby Road, Mount Waverley VIC 3149 on 18/10/2024 at 10:00AM AEST in the presence of an independent scrutineer.
The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order, in case of an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn. Winners (initial of first name, surname and postcode) will be published on the RYOBI website at

The first two hundred (200) valid entries drawn will each win a RYOBI Merch pack valued at approximately RRP AUD$61 per pack. Please note the total value of merch items will depend on the size of the items chosen.
Each RYOBI Merch pack will contain:

1x RYOBI shoe charms pack
1x RYOBI thongs/flip flops
1x RYOBI PJ shorts (male or female sizing)
1x RYOBI PJ women's top (optional extra – female sizing only)
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The winners will be notified in writing by email within two (2) business days of the draw.
The winner/s must respond to RYOBI’s email with their mailing address to claim their prize, within 14 days of receiving the email from RYOBI. If the winner/s fail to do so the prize will be forfeited.
Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does not claim a prize (or an element of the prize) by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited.
If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal (or greater) value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
Total prize pool value is approximately RRP AUD$12,200 (dependent on chosen merchandise sizing). Total number of prizes is 200. All prizes are valued in Australian dollars.
Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
Prizes will be posted by registered mail to the address provided by the winner at the time of contact from the Promoter. Winners are responsible for ensuring that all prize delivery details provided are correct. The Promoter will not be liable for any costs associated with re-delivery of a prize, should the delivery details provided by a winner be incorrect.
Entrants are advised that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of their prize(s). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from accepting a prize. Entrants are responsible for any and all expenses that they incur in entering the Promotion and they will not be reimbursed for doing so.
A draw for any prize, if unclaimed, may take place on 13/11/2024 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including as a result of electronic tampering or fraud, the Promoter may, to the fullest extent permitted by law, (a) disqualify any entrant, entry, or (b) modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion, where necessary and appropriate under the circumstances, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries, prize claims and entrants and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry or prize claim that is misleading, fraudulent, or not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who manipulates or tampers with the entry process. The Promoter may disqualify any entrant who it has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardize the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion.
If a winner breaches these Terms and Conditions, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. The Promoter is not responsible for any technical malfunctions or problems with internet or network congestion.
Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name or likeness in the event they are a winner in any media without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
The Promoter collects personal information ("PI") in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and related entities of the Promoter. Some of these third parties are located outside Australia and New Zealand, by entering into this Promotion an entrant is consenting to the disclosure of an entrant’s PI to entities outside of Australia and New Zealand. In addition to any use that may be outlined in these Terms and Conditions and the Promoter’s Privacy Policies, the Promoter may, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research, survey and profiling purposes, including sending emails/electronic messages, SMS or telephoning the entrant. The Promoter’s Privacy Policies also contains information about how entrants may opt out of any communication, access, update or correct their PI, how entrants may complain about a privacy breach or concern and how those complaints will be dealt with. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
The Promotion and these Terms and Conditions of entry will be governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Entrants accept the non-exclusive jurisdiction of courts and tribunals of Victoria, Australia in connection with the Promotion and these Terms and Conditions.
