Now it’s time for The Chronicles, a sublime new work about the cycle of life from Australia’s boldest choreographer Stephanie Lake.

More than just a show, The Chronicles is catharsis, a moment of reckoning, and ultimately, a reflection on hope. This brand-new work from Stephanie Lake Company will linger with you long after the final note fades.

Lake is currently the Resident Choreographer of The Australian Ballet and is one of the most innovative Australian choreographers to emerge in the last decade.

Pulsing with energy and sensuality, The Chronicles explores the cycles of life and the inevitability of change. Twelve incredible dancers meet a masterful electro-acoustic score by Robin Fox, which blends driving rhythms with the stirring, ethereal sounds of the Sydney Children’s Choir and a solo vocalist singing live on stage. Lake’s choreography – her signature blend of explosive dynamism and poetic introspection – navigates these cycles with tenderness and power.

The promotion is open from 10/12/2024 at 12:00am (NSW). Entries close 05/01/2025 at 11:59pm (NSW).

The prize draw will take place at Limelight Arts Media Pty Ltd, Unit 11, Level 1, 183 Macquarie Street, Sydney NSW 2000 on 06/01/2025.

The winner(s) will be notified on 06/01/2025. The winner(s) will be notified in writing via email, or by telephone at the contact details provided upon entry. The winner(s) should allow no less than 9 days and up to 30 days after notification for registered postal receipt of their prize(s). There is no requirement for the prize(s) to be collected; the prize(s) will be delivered to the winner(s) at the Promoter’s expense. No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries/prizes.

The prize(s) is/are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. Any cash prizes will be sent as a cheque.
