By entering the Reynella Mazda Million Dollar Loot in the Boot Competition, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry.
2. WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to residents of South Australia, 18 years of age or older.
2.2 Employees and their immediate families of Reynella Mazda, Ansible Pty Ltd, and their associated agencies and companies associated with this Promotion are not eligible to enter.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The Competition commences on Tuesday 01 April 2025 at 8:30am ACST and concludes on Monday 30 June 2025 at 5:00pm ACST (“the Competition Period”).
3.2 In order to enter, entrants must:
a) Make a Qualifying Purchase from Reynella Mazda dealer during the Competition Period and have the car delivered within these months and;
b) Confirm their details required and;
c) Confirm their understanding that if they are selected as a winner and wish to physically partake in the prize, they must be present at Reynella Mazda on Saturday, 5th July 2025 from 10:30 ACST, or nominate a proxy to attend on their behalf. If they are not present, Reynella Mazda will nominate a proxy on their behalf to participate in the prize.
3.3 For clarity, a Qualifying Purchase includes the purchase and delivery of any car direct from Reynella Mazda dealer at any time during April and June 2025. If the purchased car is not delivered within this timeframe, the entry is considered invalid.
3.4 Entrants may enter the Competition as many times as they like, subject to clause 3.2, but there will only be one (1) Winner, who will be awarded one (1) Prize. The time of entry will in each case be the time the Qualifying Purchase is received by Reynella Mazda.
4. PRIZES
4.1 There will be one (1) Prize Winner who will win:
a) The chance for themselves, or a Proxy, to participate in a live Reynella Mazda event to win a cash Prize on Saturday, 5th July 2025 from 10:30 ACST at Reynella Mazda; and
b) One (1) of the following amounts depending on the dollar Prize value contained in the envelope in the boot of the car selected by the Winner. There will be one (1) envelope in each boot, containing the winning prize money amount.
The dollar amounts are dispersed amongst the following number of car boots:
1x $1,000,000.00
99 x $10,000.00
The total Prize pool value is either $10,000.00 AUD or $1,000,000.00 AUD depending on the boot selected by the Winner. Total maximum Prize pool is $1,000,000.00 AUD.
4.2 Prizes and all elements of Prizes must be taken as specified, as and when offered and cannot be altered or changed in any way by you or will be forfeited, and if forfeited, the Promoter will not be liable. If you forfeit the Prize or any element of the Prize for whatever reason, you will not be given cash or any alternative Prize as a substitute. Prizes are subject to any additional terms and conditions imposed by the relevant supplier or the Promoter, including validity periods.
4.3 The Prize will only be paid once Winner validation via insurance and necessary documentation is provided to the Promoter. The Prize will only be paid via EFT to the Winner’s nominated bank account by the Promoter. The Prize must be taken as offered. The Prize value is in Australian dollars and supplied in one lump sum. The Promoter does not take any responsibility for any tax consequences or imposts that arise from the receipt of the Prize.
4.4 If any Winner chooses not to take their Prize (or is unable to) or does not take or claim a Prize by the time specified by the Promoter, or is unavailable, they forfeit the Prize and the Promoter is not obliged to substitute anything for the Prize.
4.5 No part of a Prize is transferable or exchangeable nor (except where cash is specified) redeemable for cash, unless otherwise specified in writing by the Promoter. The Prize values are correct as at the date of preparing these Conditions of Entry and include any applicable GST. The Promoter is not responsible for any change in Prize value.
4.6 In the event a Prize becomes unavailable for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute for it a Prize of equal or greater value, subject to any necessary approval by the state/territory gaming authorities.
4.7 In participating in the Prize, the Winner agrees to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. The Winners grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and they will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
4.8 All entrants agree that if they win the Prize, they will not sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation, including the internet. Photographs will be allowed only at the discretion of the program producers and the celebrity.
4.9 Winners should seek independent financial advice about any tax implications that may arise from the Prize winnings.
4.10 It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the major Prize Winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the Prize and the Promoters’ requirements.
5. HOW TO WIN
5.1 There will be one (1) random Prize Draw conducted on Saturday, 5th July 2025 at 10:30 ACST, drawing one (1) Prize Winner. The Prize Draw will take place at Reynella Mazda 45 Main South Road, Reynella SA 5161. Each valid Entry will be entered into the draw.
5.2 In the event that the Winner drawn is not a valid Winner in accordance with these terms and conditions, then the Promoter will conduct a re-draw. In the event this process does not result in the Prize being awarded, an unclaimed Prize draw will take place as per the details set out in clause 5.9 below.
5.3 The Winner will be notified on the day of the draw in person and in writing within five (5) business days. The Winner details (first name initial, last name and postcode) will be published on Reynella Mazda’s (
www.reynellamazda.com.au) website from 11 July 2025
5.4 The Winner (or their Proxy) must attend the live event Prize determination at Reynella Mazda on Saturday, 5th July 2025 at 10:30 ACST if they wish to participate in the chance to win up to a million dollars.
5.5 In the event that the Winner or their Proxy are not able to attend the live event Prize determination for any reason, the Promoter will nominate a Proxy to select a boot on behalf of the Winner. The dollar amount that the Proxy selects during the live event will be awarded to the Winner and the Proxy will have no claim to the cash Prize.
5.6 There will be one hundred (100) cars, each with a numbered boot containing an amount of money as outlined in Clause 4.1 b). The Winner will select one (1) car, open the boot and win the corresponding dollar amount contained in the selected boot.
5.7 For clarity, in the event that any Prize value remains at the end of the live event on Saturday, 5th July 2025, the Prize Winner is not entitled to claim the difference in value of the Prize amount won and the maximum Prize value.
5.8 The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
5.9 Subject to State government legislation, and if required, an unclaimed Prize draw from all non-winning entries will take place at 45 Main South Road, Reynella SA 5161 on Monday 25 August 2025 at 10:30 ACST. The Winner will be notified by phone call on day of the draw and in writing. The Winner’s details (first name initial, last name and postcode) will also be published on the Reynella Mazda’s (
www.reynellamazda.com.au) website on Friday 29 August 2025.
5.10 It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
6. PROOF OF PURCHASE
6.1 You must keep the following as proof of purchase for all entries:
a) original purchase receipt/s.
6.2 If you don’t produce the above proof of purchase or valid identification for all entries when asked, the Promoter may disqualify all of your entries and you will lose any right to a Prize.
6.3 Proof of purchase and/or valid identification must be identical to that provided by you with your entry.
6.4 Your purchase receipt must clearly identify where the Qualifying Purchase was made, the product/s purchased (which must be/comprise a Qualifying Purchase) and the date of purchase (which must be during the Promotional Period before you submitted your entry).
6.5 If, in the Promoter’s opinion, you have shared any proof of purchase with another person, your entries will be invalid, and you will lose any right to a Prize.
7. NO LIABILITY
7.1 Reynella Mazda, Ansible Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies associated with this Promotion, will take no responsibility for Prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail. Reynella Mazda, Ansible Pty Ltd and their associated employees, agencies and companies associated with this Promotion will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss or claim, damages, costs and expenses suffered, sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential) as a result of, or arising out of, or in any way connected with this Promotion and/or its Prizes that may occur:
a) during the Winner selection;
b) whilst undertaking any travel on or connected with their entry into the competition; or
c) in the participation in any Prize;
d) in relation to failure of an entry to be received by the Promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion; and
e) arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any computer equipment, software, internet connection, any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer software related to or resulting from participation in this promotion.
7.2 Subject to State Regulation, in the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the Competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the Competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions.
7.3 Reynella Mazda, Ansible Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies associated with this Promotion assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available, subject to State Regulation.
7.4 Subject to State Regulation, if for any reason this Competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition
