SXS Chamber Music Festival
Previously known as the Bangalow Chamber Music Festival, the SXS Chamber Music Festival takes place from 22–24 August, hosted at Mount Tamborine’s Shambala Estate in the Gold Coast hinterland. This year’s curator is Grammy-nominated Queensland flautist Tim Munro, who was appointed to the position of Festival Director earlier this year.
Featured artists for 2025 include classical guitarist Slava Grigoryan, cellist Sharon Grigoryan, pianist Liam Viney and the Orava Quartet, as well as a collaborative performance between soprano Alexandra Flood and English pianist Sholto Kynoch.
SXS Co-Artistic Directors violinist Margaret Blades and clarinettist Ashley Smith will also feature on the program, which is set to feature five mainstage performances, two recitals and a cabaret-style event for its opening night.

The winner(s) should allow no less than 9 days and up to 30 days after notification for postal receipt of their prize(s). There is no requirement for the prize(s) to be collected; the prize(s) will be delivered to the winner(s) at the Promoter’s expense. A valid entry is by web form only and all entries will become the property of the Promoter.

The prize(s) is/are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. Any cash prizes will be sent as a cheque.
