The Ku-ring-gai Philharmonic Orchestra returns to the Concourse Concert Hall in Chatswood on Sunday afternoon 31 August with Beethoven's Violin Concerto and Richard Strauss; Thus Spake Zarathustra - two masterpieces of the classical repertoire.
Come and hear this thrilling concert from the KPO, under the baton of artistic director Paul Terracini and joined by Teresa Yang, winner of the 40th KPO NSW Secondary Schools Concerto Competition 2024.
Richard Strauss’ Also Sprach Zarathustra is a profound work showcasing every section of the orchestra in a magnificently powerful and emotional journey. It is paired with Beethoven’s Violin Concerto, featuring soloist Teresa Yang. The concert will also feature a piece by the young Australian composer, Paul Nicolaou, Of Gates No Longer Known
