1. The Promoter (“Promoter”) is Target Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 75 004 250 944), 2 Kendall Street, Williams Landing, VIC 3027.
2.Eligibility to Enter
2.1. Entry is open to Australian residents who are 18 years or older and have been approved for payment through PayPal’s ‘Pay in 4’ facility. Employees (and their immediate family members) of the Promoter and its other related companies are not eligible to enter. ‘Immediate family member’ means a spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child, parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.
3. Entry Mechanism
3.1. This is a game of chance competition.
3.2. To enter, eligible entrants must do the following:
3.2.1. Place an order on target.com.au with a total value between $1 and $2,000; and
3.2.2. Checkout using ‘Pay in 4’ as the payment method.
3.3. Entries for the Promotion must be submitted during the Promotion Period. The Promoter is not responsible for any lost, late or misdirected entries due to technical disruption, network congestion or for any other reason.
3.4. Orders cancelled due to fraudulent activity or any other reason will not be eligible for entry.
3.5. The time the order is submitted will be deemed to be the time the entry is received by the Promoter.
3.6. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to:
3.6.1. request that an entrant verify the validity of their entry and the eligibility of the entrant (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence); and
3.6.2. disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process
4. Duration
4.1. Promotion commences 10/11/2025 at 12:00AM AEDT and closes 1/12/2025 at 11:59PM AEDT (“Promotion Period”).
5. Prize Details
5.1. There will be 20 winners and 20 prizes. Each winner will receive 1 x Target gift card, valued at $1,000. The total prize pool will be valued at $20,000. Target Gift Cards can be redeemed at any Target store Australia wide or Target.com.au online. Not redeemable for cash or payments of credit or store accounts. Gift cards cannot be used to purchase gift cards. Gift cards are valid for 4 years from the date of issue.
5.2. Winners must provide their first and last name, email address and mobile number for the delivery of the prize into their PayPal account. A prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated. Prizes are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other goods or services. A prize cannot be transferred to any other person unless agreed to by the Promoter. It is a condition of accepting a prize that the winner accepts the conditions of use of that prize.
5.3. If a prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to any State or Territory regulation/approval. The prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied.
5.4. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize or redemption of the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by any applicable Australian law (in which case, that liability is limited to the maximum extent allowable by law).
6. Selection of winners and redemption of the prize
6.1. Winners will be selected at random and drawn electronically via a random number generator. The draw will take place at the Promoter’s office in Williams Landing on 11/12/2025 at 5PM AEDT.
6.2. The winner will be contacted within 7 days after the draw via the email used when placing the order.
6.3. If a winning entrant cannot be contacted or refuses to accept a prize, the
6.3.1. make further attempts to contact the entrant; or
6.3.2. withdraw the prize from that winner, and select a new winner using the same method specified in point 6.1.
6.3.3. If a prize is unclaimed by 5PM AEDT 11/03/2026, the Promoter will draw a winner for the unclaimed prize using the same method specified in section 6.1 and will notify the winner using the same method specified in section 6.2. The re-draw will take place at the Promoter’s office in Williams Landing at 5PM AEST 11/03/2026.
7. Announcement of Winners
7.1. The winners last name, initial of their first name and postcode will be published on the Target website (
https://www.target.com.au/paypal ) on 12/12/2025 by 5:00 PM AEDT.
8. Miscellaneous
8.1. Nothing in these terms and conditions limits, excludes or modifies, or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees and any implied warranties contained in the Commonwealth and applicable State and Territory consumer protection laws.
8.2. If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation.
8.3. This competition is not endorsed, sponsored, or administered by Facebook or Instagram, and Facebook and Instagram are not associated with this competition in any way.
9. Entry Details and Privacy
9.1. Any personal information provided by entrants to the Promoter in the course of entering into the Promotion will be dealt with by the Promoter in accordance with these terms and conditions and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy (which is located at

9.2. Entrants’ personal information will be used for the purposes of conducting the Promotion, redeeming the prizes and any other matter connected to or incidental to the Promotion.
9.3. Each entrant agrees that the Promoter may publish or cause to be published the winner’s name and locality (Suburb and State) in any media or as required by law.
9.4. During a Promotion Period, the Promoter may amend these terms and conditions as they apply to the applicable Promotion at any time if it has reasonable grounds for doing so.
9.5. Any changes to these terms and conditions, or any decision to stop running Promotions, will be announced by the Promoter via the Competition Terms page on the PayPal landing page (
