Win: We’re giving away double passes to Saturday Night Fever’s Bee Gees-powered disco spectacular
Brooklyn's favourite disco king is finally making his way to Melbourne. We have two double passes to the performance on 8 January and entering couldn't be easier.
Saturday Night Fever the musical opens at the Athenaeum Theatre in January, bringing the iconic 1977 film to life with a fresh stage production directed by Drew Anthony. The show arrives after a successful Perth run where it collected BroadwayWorld Awards for Best Direction, Best Scenic Design and Best Performer.
Saturday Night Fever tells the story of Tony Manero, a young paint store worker stuck in a dead-end job who finds his escape on the disco dance floor each weekend. The plot follows his partnership with dancer Stephanie Mangano as they prepare for a dance competition, with their relationship forcing both characters to confront questions about class, ambition and what they really want from life.
