Information on how to enter and the prize form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in Urban List and The Star Brisbane’s The Star Getaway promotion (“Promotion”) is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
The Promotion is conducted by Urban List Pty Ltd ACN 142 505 897 as trustee for The Urban List Trust (ABN 56 349 266 482) (“Promoter”).
The Promotion is open to all QLD residents aged 18 and over who enter in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Employees (and their immediate family and/or those living in the same household) of the Promoter, and its related entities, affiliates, subsidiaries, agencies and suppliers associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin.
How to Enter
The Promotion period commences at 12:00PM on Wednesday the 4th February 2026 and ends at 11:59PM on Sunday the 15th of February 2026. (“Promotional Period”).
To enter, individuals must comment on the Promoter’s Instagram post at @urbanlistbne and be following @urbanlistbne and @thestarbrisbane. This Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or otherwise associated with Instagram.
There is no cost to enter the Promotion.
The Promoter reserves the right to refuse any entries which contravene these Terms and Conditions, including any incomplete or indecipherable entries.
Determining and Notifying the Winner(s)
Selection of the winner(s) will take place at the Sydney office of the Promoter, 8 Hill Street, Surry Hills, NSW, 2010 at 2:00pm AEST on Monday the 16th February 2026.
This Promotion will run as a game of chance. All eligible entries shall be placed into the draw, with the winner chosen by an online random number generator. The major prize will be drawn first, with all remaining prizes drawn in descending order of value.
The Promoter’s determination of the winner is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The winner(s) will be notified via Instagram from the @urbanlistbris account, on Monday the 9th February 2026. The winner must acknowledge acceptance of and claim their Prize by replying to the Instagram message from @urbanlistbris with details requested. This must be received by the Promoter no later than 1pm on Thursday the 26th of February 2026.
If for any reason a winner does not acknowledge, accept and claim their Prize by 1pm on Thursday the 26th of February 2026, that Prize will be forfeited, and another winner selected at 2pm AEST on Thursday the 26th of February 2026.
The Promoter will have no liability for a winner's failure to receive notices due to winner’s spam, junk email or other security settings or for a winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information.
The Prize
The winner of the Prize will receive:
1 (one) night at The Star Grand Brisbane in a City King with complementary Self Parking valued at up to $407AUD
Breakfast for 2 (two) valued at $80AUD
Dinner for 2 (two) at Sokyo Brisbane valued at $350AUD
Total Prize Pool: $837AUD
Prize terms and conditions:
Prize must be redeemed by 30 June 2026. Prize subject to room availability and black outdates. Excludes public holidays.
All Prize redemptions are also subject to any terms and conditions imposed by the supplier (for example, the accommodation, restaurant, tour operator etc.).
Prizes cannot be exchanged for goods or cash, nor can they be sold or otherwise transferred to any person.
The winner is solely responsible for any and all travel expenses that fall outside the $757 AUD total prize value.
All additional meals, beverages, tips or any other extras not stated in the confirmed Prize package are the sole responsibility of the winner.
The winner is solely responsible for determining who to share the Prize with.
