TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
The above competition for the specified prize(s) (“Competition”) is conducted by Screen Queensland Pty Ltd ABN 20 056 169 316 of Level 2, 130 Commercial Road, Teneriffe, Queensland 4005, phone (07) 3248 0500 (Promoter).
Entry to the Competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions (“Conditions of Entry”). All entry instructions and prize information published by the Promoter form part of these
Conditions. The Competition commences on the date of publication and closes on the stated closing date/time of the Competition (“Entry Period”).
Entries must be received during the Entry Period. The Promoter takes no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, illegible or misdirected entries or for any delays or failures in any telecommunications service or equipment.
The Competition is open to individuals (“Entrants”) who:
are bona fide Queensland residents with supporting identification to demonstrate this to Screen Queensland’s satisfaction; are 18 years of age or over;
are not directors, management or employees (or immediate family members of such persons) of Screen Queensland; and
have not been discovered to have breached these Conditions of entry or conditions of entry of previous contests run by the Promoter.
To enter, an Entrant must:
fill in the competition form with requested personal information (including full name, address, valid and current email address, contact number) and agree to the Conditions of Entry;
acknowledge and agree that their name and image (whether in photos and/or video) may be published by Screen Queensland and the relevant event/festival operator in relation to this Competition; and
complete the above steps during the Entry Period.
Entrants can only enter once. If an Entrant enters multiple times, only their first entry will be included in the draw for the Competition.
There is no cost to enter the Competition. The Promoter is not, shall not and will not be liable for any costs whatsoever that Entrants, the Winner(s) and/or their guest(s) incur in connection with the Competition, including the claiming and use of the prize (if any).
The Promoter may reject an Entrant’s entry if the Promoter reasonably forms the opinion that the entry has been entered using false information or via automated entry means or by use of a competition entry service.
The Promoter may, at its absolute discretion, declare an Entrant’s entry invalid if the Entrant tampers with the entry process, benefits from such tampering or submits an entry that is illegible, incomplete or not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry or has engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the Competition.
Prizes
The above specified number of winners will be randomly selected by chance via random number generator (“Winner” or “Winners”, as applicable), the Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Any Winner will be selected after closure of the Entry Period and will be notified via email.
Any Winner has 24 hours to claim their prize and provide all the requested details or Screen Queensland will select another Winner.
If the prize is posted to a Winner, it will be done by Australia Post express mail.
The prize is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
Screen Queensland takes no responsibility for prizes not being accepted.
Passes are valid at participating cinemas or festivals or other events, subject to the relevant cinema, festival or event venue and ticket terms and conditions.
General
This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any social media platform on which it is advertised or promoted.
If this Competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, or changes to the schedule for the relevant festival or event, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any Entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Competition, as the Promoter deems appropriate.
Nothing in these Conditions of Entry limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 (Cth) or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including in negligence) for any personal or permanent injury or loss of life, or for any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Competition.
Privacy
All details of the Entrants (including personal information) will be collected, used, preserved and disclosed in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles and Screen Queensland’s privacy policy (available here:

A request to access, update or correct any information may be made to the address, phone number or email stated in these Conditions of Entry.
