Information on how to enter and win a prize(s) form part of these Terms and Conditions (Terms and Conditions). Participation in Petbarn’s Pet of the Month Competition – Show Us Your Pet’s Love Language (Competition) is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. The Competition is a game of skill.
3. The Promoter of the Competition is Petbarn Pty Limited ACN 001 802 759 of Quarter One, Level 2, 1 Epping Road, North Ryde NSW 2113 (Promoter or Petbarn).
4. The Competition commences at 10:00am (AEDT) on Tuesday, 04 February 2026, and entries close on Tuesday, 10 February 2026 at 11:59pm (AEDT).
5. The Competition will be conducted during the following Competition Period between the Start Time and the End Time at the following Location:

Eligibility and Entries
6. Subject to clause 7, entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over pet owners.(Eligible Entrants).
7. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Greencross Group, (as defined in clause 29) and agencies associated with the Competition are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
8. At the commencement of the Competition Period, the Promoter will post on Petbarn Facebook account Petbarn | Facebook (Facebook Page), and in the Instagram account Petbarn (@petbarn) • Instagram photos and videos (Instagram Account) a promotional post advertising the Competition (Promotional Post).
9. To enter, Eligible Entrants must complete the following steps via Facebook and/or Instagram during the Competition Period (the Entry Brief):

10. Only one (1) entry per person is permitted. Entries must not be submitted across multiple platforms. Multiple entries submitted by the same person, including entries featuring different pets owned by the same individual, will be deemed invalid.
11. The Promoter reverses the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entry that fails to meet clause 10.
12. All entrants and entries must comply with these Terms and Conditions. Please note that submitting an entry gives us the right to use your content across our social media channels, paid campaigns, email marketing and website.
13. Entries will be deemed to be accepted at the time of receipt and not at the time of transmission. Incomplete, incomprehensible or false entries will be deemed invalid (subject to the Promoter’s discretion under clause 14).
14. The Promoter may, in its absolute discretion: verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence); and ignore or disqualify any entry which it deems to be offensive or inappropriate (including but not limited to content that includes profanity, nudity, potentially insulting, scandalous, inflammatory or defamatory language), or otherwise tampers with the entry process or the operation of the Competition, or which otherwise does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
15. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion.
16. The Promoter is not responsible for late, lost or misdirected entries.
17. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
18. Entry and continued participation in the Competition depend on entrants following and acting in accordance with the Facebook Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, which can be viewed at

Judging, Winners and Prizes
19. The Competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining a Winner (as defined below). Each entry will be individually judged, based upon individual creative merit. All entries must be an independent creation by the entrant and free of any claims that they infringe any third-party rights. Entries must not have been published previously and/or have been used to win prizes in any other competitions.
20. Judging will occur at the Promoter’s premises at 9:00am (AEST) on Wedneday, 11 February 2026 (Judging Day):
Judging Day:
On Judging Day, on Wednesday, 11 February 2026, a panel of representatives from the Promoter will select one (1) eligible entrant who, in the Promoter’s sole discretion, best meet the following criteria will be declared as the final winner.
Creativity & Originality (40%) – How uniquely and expressively your entry showcases your pet’s love language.
Emotional Connection (30%) – How well the photo or video captures your pet’s personality, affection, and the special bond you share.
Relevance to Theme (20%) – Your entry clearly reflects the “Show us your pet’s love language” theme.
Presentation (10%) – Overall visual appeal, clarity, and storytelling in bringing your pet’s love lenaugage to life through the image or video.
21. The Winner will receive one (1) Petbarn Gift Voucher valued at AUD250 (Prize), and one (1) Valentine’s Day Goodies for dog including 1x All Day Cosy Cottage Rectangular Dog Basket Grey Large, 1x Mix or Match 12 Rope Rose Dog Toy Red, 1x The Paw Grocer Valentines Day Chicken Dog Treat 50g, 1x Golden Bakery Pawlentine Day Biscuit Dog Treat 2PK,(Prize); or one (1) Valentine’s Day Goodies for cat including 2x The Paw Grocer Valentines Day Chicken Cat Treat 50g, 1x Mix or Match 12 Rope Rose Dog Toy Red, 1x All Day Snuggle Ball Cat Bed Latte 45x20cm, 1x Electronic Flutter Butterfly Cat Toy White. The Valentine’s Day Goodies will be confirmed upon selection of the winner. The prize contents may vary based on the size and type of the winner’s pet.
22. One (1) eligible entrant will be selected as the winner of the Competition. The winner will receive two (2) Prizes. The total prize pool of the Competition is valued at AUD390.98 for dog (incl. GST), at AUD370.98 for cat (incl. GST).
23. If a Prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute a Prize for another prize of equal or greater value and/or specification.
24. By accepting a Prize, the Winner confirms it has and continues to accept these Terms and Conditions. A Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and is not redeemable for cash. A Prize must be used on or before its nominated expiry date and if not used, the value of the Prize is forfeited. It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the Prize (including any terms and conditions imposed on the Prize). Once awarded, the Promoter is not liable for any Prize that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way.
25. The Promoter reserves the right to “share” the content of the Winner on Facebook or Instagram on Wednesday 11 February 2026, on the Promoter’s Facebook Account and on the Promoter’s Instagram Account. The Winner will be notified via direct message on the Platform they submitted their entry that they have been selected as a Winner by 5:00pm (AEDT) on Wednesday 11 February 2026.
26. If the Winner is not able to satisfy these Terms and Conditions, or forfeits or fails to accept their respective Prize by 11:59pm (AEDT) on Wednesday, 18 February 2026, then they will be deemed to have forfeited their Prize and an alternative winner or winners will be selected by a representative of the Promoter (each an Alternative Winner). Each Alternative Winner will be contacted via direct message on the Platform they submitted their entry by 4:00pm (AEDT) on Thursday, 19 February 2026, via the Promoter’s Facebook Account or on the Promoter’s Instagram Account (as applicable). The Promoter reserves the right to “share” the content of each Alternative Winner on Facebook or Instagram on Thursday, 119 February 2026, on the Promoter’s Facebook Account and on the Promoter’s Instagram Account.
27. Each Winner or Alternative Winner (as applicable) will receive the Prize by email and or mail.
28. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no additional correspondence will be entered into except as required by law.
