Fresh off a huge year and riding a wave of national momentum, ARIA Award-winning Yolŋu rock outfit King Stingray bring their unmistakable surf-rock energy to Melbourne at Palace Foreshore on Sunday 1 March.

Their second album For the Dreams has further cemented the band's status as one of Australia's most vital modern rock acts. A joyous celebration of life that oozes optimism from its every note, the album expands their sound with tracks like "Through the Trees," "Looking Out," "Best Bits" and their first love song "Cat 5 (Cyclone)." Recorded under the mantra "Yaka Muckaround!" (we're not mucking around), the band set out to get everyone in on the party.

King Stingray have stayed true to themselves from the start, blending raucous rock'n'roll with the ancient Indigenous tradition of manikay (songlines), organically building a fanbase until the momentum became unstoppable. With an ARIA Breakthrough Artist Award, five ARIA nominations, the Australian Music Prize and multiple AIR Awards to their name, their rise has been nothing short of explosive.
