General
1. The “Gone Fishing, Win a share of $20,000 worth of prizes “ Trade Promotion is free entry upon the required minimum
spend in participating departments and is open to Catalina Club Members (including Provisional members), excluding
Junior and Cadet members.
2. Members must be aged 18 years or over.
3. Members must be in possession of their current Catalina Club membership card in order to participate.
4. Membership cards must be presented and used for any Point Of Sale transactions.
5. Membership card loss or malfunction will result in the member being unable to participate in the promotion. In the
case of permanent card loss, a replacement, may be obtained from Reception for a fee.
6. Catalina Club Board of Directors, Management, Staff and their respective spouses* who have been
associated with the club for any time since the commencement of the promotion, are not eligible to claim
any prizes on offer.
7. Contractors of Catalina Club are not eligible to claim the prize whilst they are on club premises carrying out
their contracted duties.
*Spouse - Definition of word ‘spouse’ in relation to promotions conducted by Catalina Club: Spouse – known couple, whether
by marriage or defacto relationship, living under the same roof at any time during the promotion.

How to Enter
23. Members on presentation of their current Catalina Club Membership Card at the time of purchase, will receive a FREE
entry into the GONE FISHING, WIN a share of $20,000 Promotion when making a purchase of $20 or more on Food,
Beverage and Golf in the following participating departments:
• 1920, the Catalina Restaurant
• Young Percy’s Café
• Athol’s Sports Bar
• Athol’s Sports Bar – Bottleshop
• Main Lounge
• Golf Shop
• Reception & Gift Shop
The Point Of Sale system will automatically generate a (1) FREE entry ticket on completion of the purchase/sale of
$20 or more.
e.g., $18 = 0 entry; $20 = 1 entry; $45 = 1 entry; $100 = 1 entry etc.
24. Once presented with an entry ticket, members are required to place the ticket(s) into the ‘GONE FISHING, WIN a share
of $20,000 entry barrel located next to the Gaming area of the Clubhouse to be eligible in the draws.
25. Members are permitted to only swipe their own membership card. Members identified as swiping cards of other
members may lose the right of being eligible to participate in the promotion & possible disciplinary action.
26. Manual tickets will be made available to members in the event of prolonged system failure.
27. Promotion excludes Function and Events that may be held by members during this period.
Draw location and determination of winners
28. All draws will take place in the Lounge area at:
a. Catalina Club, 154 Beach Road Batemans Bay NSW 2536 – Main Lounge Area
b. Members must be present at this venue at the time of the draw to claim prize
27. Prize winners will be selected by a manual ticket draw conducted by a nominated Catalina Club Operational
Leader who will mix and randomly draw a ticket from the Entry Barrel.
28. Members must be present in ground floor trading areas of Catalina Club at the time of the first announcement of their
name over the public address (PA) system to claim the prize.
29. Winning members have four (4) minutes from the first PA announcement of their name, to present themselves with
Club Membership identification to the Club representative to claim the prize.
30. Winners may claim a maximum of one (1) of the five (5) prizes on offer on the Major Draw Night. In the event that a
second or third ticket is drawn for the same member, a redraw will be announced and take place immediately.
31. Any tickets other than official Catalina Club issued ‘GONE FISHING, WIN a share of $20,000 tickets will be considered
void.
32. Tickets which are illegible will be void.
33. Tickets for members who are suspended, Under the age of 18, or deceased, become void upon the aforementioned
incidents prior to the time of the draw(s). These events will result in a redraw.
34. In the event a draw is conducted, and the drawn membership number is that of an on-duty contractor,
Director, Club employee or their respective spouse (excludes spouse of contractor), a redraw will be
conducted following notification to members over the PA system.

35. Prize determination is as follows:

seat swivels, 2 x fishing shirts, Boat & trailer registrations (NSW 12 months), valued at $13,400.00 inc.

• 3 x manual inflate PFD’s
• 1 x 8lb sand anchor
• 2m chain & shackles for anchor

Quintrex aluminium trailer. All goods provided by a Batemans Bay business. Excludes any insurances, licenses, stamp duties
or delivery.
Prize Draw No.2 – from 7pm , following the successful outcome of Prize Draw 1.
4 x Individual Fishing Packs (Yeti Roadie Esky, Shimano Combo, Shimano Lure Pack, Shimano Fishing Shirt, Shimano Shorts,
Shimano Sunglasses, Shimano Sock Pack, Shimano Undies Pack, Shimano Hat, Live Ops Case, Gulp Plastics Lures, TT's Jighead
Pack and Rapala Fillet Knife all provided by a Batemans Bay business.
Prizes are non-transferable or exchangeable.
36. Individual Prizes will not exceed $15,000 in value per draw.

Notification of Winners
38. Winners will be notified face to face following a PA announcement on the night of the draw if they are present.
39. Promotion of winners names will be as follows:
• Advertised on the club’s website, www.catalinaclub.com.au & Facebook & Instagram
• Weekly member newsletter – email
• Digital Screens located throughout the Club
General Terms & Conditions
40. The promotion will take place at Catalina Club 154 Beach Road Batemans Bay NSW 2536.
41. In the event that a situation or issue arises for which these terms and conditions either make no provision or are unclear,
the Promoter will make a decision. Subject to any regulator involvement and direction to the contrary, this decision will
be final and binding.
42. By entering and/or participating in the promotion, each eligible participant agrees to abide by these terms and conditions.
43. Printing errors or other quality assurance matters outside the control of the individual member will not be used as the sole
basis for refusing to award a prize.
44. The promoter will terminate, modify or suspend the promotion in accordance with any written direction received by
regulatory authorities authorized to do so.
Record Keeping
45. Promotion terms and conditions are for the information of club members, employees and regulatory inspectors, and are
on display for viewing at any time in the promotions folders at the foyer of the club.

46. A prize register will be maintained & kept for at least 12 months after the expiration of the permit.
47. Entry forms and all Records will be retained for at least 3 months after 29 April 2026 – the date on which all winners
have been decided.
