The Prize Includes

The prize value varies depending on seasonal rates and availability, with a minimum value of AUD $1,331.50.

    6th October to 19th December 2026
    1st February to 31st March 2027
    24th April to 30th June 2027

Blackout dates apply, including NSW school holidays and public holidays. Minimum stay restrictions may apply. The prize must be redeemed in one stay, is subject to availability, and cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash.

Sitchu 2026 Reader Survey Competition Terms & Conditions

This promotion is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged on the quality, thoughtfulness and insight of the entrant’s responses to the 2026 Reader Survey. All entries must be an independent creation by the entrant and free of any claims that they infringe any third-party rights.

Entries must not have been submitted previously and/or used to win prizes in any other competition.

Employees of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter the competition, as are their immediate families.

To enter, entrants must sign up to the Sitchu mailing list and complete the 2026 Reader Survey online here. By signing up to the Sitchu mailing list as part of entry, entrants consent to receive commercial electronic messages from Sitchu. Entrants may unsubscribe at any time after the entry period closes without affecting the validity of their entry. Only one entry is permitted per person. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries.

The judges reserve the right to disqualify any entrant submitting an entry which, in the opinion of the judges, includes objectionable content, including but not limited to profanity, nudity, potentially insulting, scandalous, inflammatory or defamatory language. The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

All entries become and remain the property of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion.

Entrants and winners of the competition must be 18 years of age or over and residents of Australia.

The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend the competition as necessary due to circumstances outside its control.

Prize

The prize is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. Any attempt to resell or auction all or any part of the prize will result in immediate cancellation of the prize.

The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any component of the prize for one of equal or greater value at their discretion.

Prize winners will be required to agree to the terms of Elements of Byron’s prize offering, otherwise the prize will be forfeited.

Once the prize has been confirmed by Sitchu, it is deemed non-transferable.

On acceptance of the competition prize, the winner acknowledges that they have read and agreed to Elements of Byron’s conditions including booking dates pending availability, blackout dates, and that organising travel to and from the resort is the responsibility of the prize winner.

Major Prize:

One (1) winner will receive:

    A three (3) night stay in a Botanica Villa at Elements of Byron for two (2) adults.
    A $250 Elements of Byron Food and Beverage credit to be used on food and beverage in Resort.

The prize includes accommodation and a $250 Food and Beverage Credit only. Travel to and from the resort, additional meals, beverages, spa treatments, activities, resort charges, incidentals and any other additional expenses are the responsibility of the winner.

Prize Conditions:

    Valid for travel from 5 June – 25 September, 6 October – 19 December 2026, 1 February – 31 March, 24 April – 30 June 2027. (strictly no extensions).
    Blackout dates apply, including all NSW school holiday periods and public holidays.
    Resort minimum length of stay restrictions may apply.
    The prize must be redeemed in one single stay.
    Subject to availability at the time of booking.
    The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and not redeemable for cash.
    The prize must be taken within the validity period or will be forfeited.

The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize (or part of the prize) with one of equal or greater value if it becomes unavailable.

The prize awarded may not be exactly as illustrated in displays or marketing for the Competition.

The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, in connection with the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by laws.

The prize is valid as per the outlined time from the associated brand or as per outlined above. The prize is for one time use and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Competition Dates

Promotion commences 20/04/26. Entries close 11:59 pm AEST on 08/05/26.

Entries will be judged at Sitchu Head Office at 10:00 am AEST on 14/05/26. The winner’s name will be published on the Sitchu website within 30 days of the judging date.

Winner Notification

The winner will be notified in writing by email within ten (10) business days of judging. Sitchu will be in contact with the winner to arrange prize fulfilment once the prize is awarded. Sitchu and the partner brand do not accept responsibility for lost or damaged goods.

If Sitchu is unable to contact the winner within 30 days of the judging date, having made every reasonable effort to do so using the contact information provided at entry, Sitchu reserves the right to award the prize to another valid entrant.

Liability

By entering the Competition, an entrant releases and indemnifies the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) from and against all actions, liabilities, penalties, claims or demands arising from the entrant’s own breach of these Terms and Conditions or the entrant’s own negligence in connection with the Competition or the use of the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law or which would cause any part of this clause to be void or unenforceable.

Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize.

In the event that a winner does not accept the prize within the time stipulated by Sitchu, the prize will be forfeited and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.
