Entry into this promotion deems acceptance of these Conditions of Entry as well as
Booking Conditions outlined below.
3. Entry is open to all residents of Australia. Employees of Reading Entertainment
Australia Pty Ltd and their immediate families, associated companies and
advertising agencies are ineligible to enter/win.
4. Entry to the promotion commences 09:00am hrs AEDST, June 2nd, 2026, and concludes 11.59pm hrs AEST July 19th, 2026.
5. All prizes, including any unused portion, are not transferable or exchangeable. Any
attempt to resell all or any portion of the prize will result in forfeiture of the prize.
The promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value.
6. Prize winner must be over 15 years old.
How to Enter
7. To be eligible to enter, the customer must purchase a ticket to Minions & Monsters
from the Reading Cinemas Australia website - www.readingcinemas.com.au, the
official Reading Cinemas app, or at the Box Office, and be a Reading Rewards
member. Upon purchase of tickets, the customer must enter via the competition
page on the Reading Cinemas Australia website. The ticket number for a valid
session, the answer to the competition question and being logged in as a Reading
Rewards member are mandatory for entry to be considered valid.
Entrants must be a Reading Rewards member. The customer must scan their Reading
Rewards membership barcode to ensure purchase is registered to their account.
Entrants must provide proof of ticket purchase, in the form of a valid ticket serial
number in order to claim prize.
10. Complimentary tickets/box office ticket references do not qualify as valid entries.
11. All entries validated as a correct entry will be counted as one valid entry.
8. 9. Prizes
12. To enter the promotion, patrons must purchase a ticket to Minions & Monsters at
Reading Cinemas and submit a completed entry via the Reading Cinemas Australia
website.
13. Patrons may enter more than once during the promotional period.
14. Date and time of judging: July 20th
, 2026, at 10.00 AM hrs AEST, at Reading
Entertainment Pty Ltd: Level 1, 98 York St, South Melbourne Victoria 3205. The
judge’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
15. Should the major prize winner(s) be unreachable, the Promoter will hold the prize
until 11.59pm AEST July 26th, 2026. If the prize remains unclaimed to this date, the
promoter will determine a second winner, as detailed in item 19.
16. No responsibility is taken for late, lost or misdirected entries.
17. The promoter will notify the winner within 5 working days of the judging. Prizes
must be claimed by 11.59pm AEST July 26th, 2026. Prize must be claimed as set out
by the Promoter.
18. Prize is:
• Return flights for 4 people from nearest capital city to Osaka
• 4 tickets to Universal Studios Japan
• 4 nights hotel accommodation (2 x Twin Rooms)
• $500 spending money

Unclaimed prize
19. Where the prize remains unclaimed as at 11.59pm AEST July 26th, 2026 the
Promoter will determine a second winner on July 27th, 2026 at 10.00am hrs AEST,
at Reading Entertainment Australia Pty Ltd, Level 1, 98 York St, South Melbourne
Victoria 3205, as is necessary to award the prize, to be determined by the Promoter
in its absolute discretion but of equivalent value to the original prize.
Conditions of Travel
20. Any additional costs associated with claiming the prize (e.g., for a passport,
transportation, meals, travel insurance etc.) are the responsibility of the winner.
21. Prize has no cash alternative, is non-transferable and non-refundable.
22. Prize not available during Japan or Australian Public or National holiday periods.
Not valid 12 December 2026– 30 January 2027. Not valid 9 March – 30 March 2027.
Prize valid for 12 months of notification of winning.
23. Travel dates must be confirmed within 45 days of notification.
24. One winner or guest must be over 18 years of age.
25. All elements are subject to availability at time of booking.
26. Accommodation will be arranged at one of the Universal Studios Japan Official
Hotels, but the hotel cannot be selected - (https://www.usj.co.jp/web/en/us/tour-
hotel/partner-hotel)
27. Accommodation is based on 2 people sharing 1 room/apartment. A valid credit card
must be presented at hotel check in for incidentals.
28. Winner must provide bank details for EFT Transfer.
29. Tickets are non-transferable (i.e. no name changes allowed). Any alterations to
confirmed flights and/or accommodation details will be at the expense of the
winner. All components of the Prize must be fulfilled at the same time, and they
cannot be split across different time periods. Any changes by the winner made to
the specified prize package (including travel extensions, additional guests, etc) will
be subject to an administration fee of $350 excluding GST, which must be settled in
full prior to booking confirmation.
30. Individual supplier terms and conditions apply. Once the Prize has been arranged,
any changes to the travel, flights, accommodation or scheduling arrangements are
at the expense of the Winner and their travelling companions.
31. Flights are economy class and may be indirect. The airline’s Conditions of Carriage
apply to all flights. The Winner and travelling companions must travel at the same
time and are responsible for transport from their residence to their nearest Capital
City Airport in Australia. The winner and their travelling companions are responsible
for making their way to and from their departing Australian airport.
32. Airline, flight route and dates of travel are subject to the promoter’s absolute and
final decision.
33. Any accommodation or transportation costs incurred due to airline schedule changes
or other adjustments after reservation will be the responsibility of the winner.
34. Winners and guest travel at their own risk and, if for any reason any aspect of this
promotion is not capable of running as planned, including war, terrorism, state of
emergency, pandemic, or any other kind of disaster, tampering or computer virus,
the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the
promotion or suspend, substitute or modify a prize, subject to any written directions
from a relevant regulatory authority.
35. Winner must obtain their own travel insurance and proof of insurance be provided
before tickets are issued.

USJ Admission Ticket Conditions (Universal Studios Japan)
36. Cancellations or changes are not acceptable once the issue is completed.
37. This ticket includes park entry and access to attractions (excluding some paid
attractions).
38. Depending on park conditions, entry restrictions (delays in entry) or entry
limitations (denial of entry) may be implemented.
39. Re-entry on the same day is not allowed with a used ticket.
Validation
40. The Promoter reserves the right to conduct security verification checks at its
absolute discretion.
41. The promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual
for tampering with the entry process, the operation of the promotion, acting in
violation of these terms and conditions, acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive
manner, or acting with the intent to annoy abuse, threaten or harass any other
person.
42. If for any reason the promotion does not run for its duration due to tampering,
unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the
control of the Promoter that corrupts or affects the administration, security,
fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the competition, the Promoter reserves the
right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition
or disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process subject to state
legislation.
The Promoter is not responsible for any injury or damage to entrants or any other
person related to or resulting from participation in the competition.
43. The Promoter, and its associated companies and agencies will not be liable for any
loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or
consequential loss), for any personal injury suffered, as a result of participating in
this Promotion, or receiving, accepting or using any prize, except for any liability
which cannot be excluded by law.
44. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from
the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.
45. The sharing of prizes other than through its designed purpose is not permitted. Prize
is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for any other goods /
services.
46. If for any reason the prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to
substitute it for another item, in its sole discretion, of the same recommended retail
value subject to state legislation.
