SET against the breathtaking beauty of 18th century Venice, 'Primavera' is a lush historical drama inspired by the life and music of Antonio Vivaldi.

At the famed Ospedale della Pietà orphanage, gifted young women are trained to perform for Venetian high society while living under the strict confines of the era. When brilliant young violinist Cecilia forms a powerful artistic connection with the charismatic composer Antonio Vivaldi, their collaboration awakens in her a longing for freedom, self-determination and a life beyond the orphanage walls.

Directed by acclaimed opera and theatre director Damiano Michieletto in his feature film debut, the film is a visually sumptuous and emotionally stirring story about artistic passion, female empowerment and the transformative power of music.
