Terms and Conditions
1. The Bankwest '2026 Toyota AFL Grand Final Ticket National Giveaway Competition'
(Promotion) is conducted by the Bankwest, a division of Commonwealth Bank of
Australia ABN 48 123 123 124 AFSL/Australian credit licence 234945, Bankwest Place,
300 Murray St, Perth WA 6000, ph. 13 17 19 (Promoter).
2. This promotion commences at 12:01pm AWST on 11 August 2026 and closes at
12:00pm AWST on 4 September 2026 (Promotional Period).

Eligibility / How to enter
5. Entry is open to Australian residents who:
a. Reside in Western Australia, Australian Capital Territory, Victoria New South
Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland, and/or Tasmania; and
b. are aged over 18; and
c. are not a person that is (as determined by the Promoter):
i. involved (whether as a principal, agent or employee) in the conduct or the
promotion of the Promotion (including any person who determines who is to
win a prize in the Promotion); or
ii. involved in the management of the Promoter or any of the Promoter's
related entities or any other benefitting organisation,

6. South Australian residents are excluded from entering this competition.
7. To enter, Eligible Entrants must, at any time before the end of the Promotion Period:
a. Visit the website link (‘Website’) provided by Bankwest as follows:

b. Entrants must complete the online entry form, including all required personal
details, and submit their entry during the Promotional Period.
c. Entrants must acknowledge these Terms and Conditions and the Bankwest
Privacy Notice (available at
www.bankwest.com.au).
8. A person is only eligible to enter the Promotion one (1) time.
Prize details
9. The first eligible entry randomly drawn will win four (4) General Admission tickets to
the 2026 Toyota AFL Grand Final, four (4) return economy flights with Qantas Airways
from the winner's nearest Australian capital city to Melbourne, Victoria, and two (2)
nights' accommodation in two (2) twin share rooms at The Olsen Melbourne – Art
Series (Prize). Tickets are valued at $472.00 each, flights are valued at up to
$1,400.00 per person, and accommodation is valued at up to $2,512.00. Total Prize
valued at up to $10,000 AUD.
10. If the winner resides in Victoria, flights and accommodation will not be included in the
Prize and the Prize will consist of the four (4) General Admission tickets to the 2026
Toyota AFL Grand Final only. No compensation or alternative prize will be provided in
lieu of the flights and accommodation.
11. Other than as expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions, the Prize or any unused
portion of the Prize may not be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash or other
goods or services. The Prize must be taken on the dates specified by the Promoter
and in conjunction with the 2026 Toyota AFL Grand Final.

12. Elements of the Prize (including flights, accommodation and event tickets) are subject
to the terms and conditions of the relevant suppliers. Subject to those terms and
conditions, if for any reason the Prize or any element of the Prize is not used at the
time stipulated, then the Prize, or that element of the Prize, will be forfeited and will not
be redeemable for cash.
13. If the Prize, or any element of the Prize, is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right,
in its discretion, to substitute the Prize, or that element of the Prize, with a prize of
equivalent value and/or specification, subject to any legal requirements or any written
directions from a regulatory authority.
14. All travel bookings will be arranged by the Promoter or its nominated travel provider.
Flights are subject to availability, airline schedules and fare class availability at the time
of booking.
15. Travel to and from the Venue and any other travel-related costs associated with
accepting the Prize are the sole responsibility of the Winner and their guests. This
excludes the return flights included as part of the Prize from the winner's nearest
Australian capital city to Melbourne, Victoria.
Determining the winner
16. The random electronic prize draw will take place at 2:00pm AWST on 4 September
2026 at Trade Promotions and Lotteries Pty Ltd, Level 13, 477 Pitt St, Sydney NSW
2000 (Draw). The first eligible entry drawn, as determined by the Promoter, will be
awarded the Prize (Winner).
17. At the time of the Draw, the Promoter will randomly draw a further five additional
eligible entries to be reserve winners if the Prize is not claimed in accordance with
these terms (Reserve Winners).
18. Eligible Entrants are only eligible to win one (1) Prize.

Announcing the winner
19. The Promoter will notify the Winner by telephone and email within 7 days of the Prize
being awarded, and will publish the last name, first initial and postcode (unless the
Winner requests otherwise) of the Winner within 30 days of the Draw on the Bankwest
website at
www.bankwest.com.au (unless a Winner is unable to be contacted by that
date, in which case publication in respect of that Winner will be as soon as practical
after that Winner has been contacted.
Claiming the prize
20. The Winner must claim the Prize by 2:00pm AWST on 7 September 2026, after the
Prize was awarded to them by confirming receipt of the notification email by return
email or by such other method specified in the notification email.
21. If the Prize is not claimed by that time:
a. the Winner will be taken to have forfeited the Prize and the Promoter will award
the Prize instead to the Reserve Winner to have been next drawn;
b. the Promoter will notify the Reserve Winner by telephone and email as soon as
practicable after the Prize has been awarded to them; and
c. the first Reserve Winner must claim the Prize within three (3) days of being
notified, or by 12:00pm AWST on 24 September 2026, whichever occurs first.
22. If a Reserve Winner does not claim the Prize within the timeframe specified in clause
21(c), the process set out in clause 18 will be repeated until the Prize has been claimed
or until 12:00pm AWST on 24 September 2026, after which the Prize will be deemed
forfeited and no further redraws will be conducted.
23. In accepting and using the Prize, the Winner and their guests agree to comply with the
venue's conditions of entry, including the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG)
Conditions of Entry and any conditions imposed by the AFL or ticketing provider.
24. As a condition of claiming the Prize:

a. the Winner or Reserve Winner (as the case may be); or (Prize Recipient), must
consent to the Promoter using the Prize Recipient's and/or the Winner's /
Reserve Winner's name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film
and/or recording of the same) and suburb in any media for an unlimited period
without remuneration for the purpose of this Promotion (including any outcome)
25. AFL Grand Final tickets, flight itineraries and accommodation confirmations will be
provided to the Winner electronically via the email address nominated in their entry.
The Winner must provide any information reasonably required by the Promoter to
facilitate the booking and delivery of the Prize.
Resolving disputes
26. Complaints regarding the Promotion may be submitted by:
a. Messaging us in the Bankwest App; or
b. Calling 13 17 19.
27. If there is a dispute concerning the complaint, the decision of the Promoter is final and
binding, and no further correspondence will be entered into.
General
28. Information on how to enter and prize details set out in all communications regarding
the Promotion form part of these terms.
29. Should they be a Winner, Eligible Entrants consent to publication of their details in
accordance with these terms.
30. Any entry not complying with these terms is invalid. Errors and omissions may be
accepted at the Promoter's discretion.
31. The Promoter’s decision is final in relation to all aspects of this Promotion and no
correspondence will be entered into.

32. Beneficiaries of the Prize accept the Prize ‘as is’ and acknowledge that the Promoter
accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from their Prize.
Beneficiaries of the Prize should seek advice from the Australian Tax Office or their
own taxation adviser or independent financial adviser.
33. Promoter reserves the right, at any time, in its sole discretion, to verify the validity of
entries and Eligible Entrants (including an Eligible Entrant’s identity, age and place of
residence and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any Eligible Entrant
whom the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these terms, tampered
with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct
calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the Promotion. The Promoter's
legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are
reserved.
34. If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned (including, but not
limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, unauthorised intervention, fraud,
technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which
corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of
this Promotion), the Promoter may, subject to the approval of all relevant regulatory
authorities, take any action that may be available including cancelling, terminating,
modifying or suspending the Promotion.
35. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a
waiver of those rights.
36. Nothing in these terms limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or
modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and
Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar
consumer protection laws in the states and territories of Australia (Non-Excludable
Guarantees).
37. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable
Guarantees, the Promoter and its related entities (including its respective directors,

officers, employees and agents) are not responsible for and exclude all liability
(including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of
opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out
of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the
Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c)
any entry or Prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or
not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable
control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in Prize value to that stated in these terms; (e)
any tax liability incurred by a beneficiary of a Prize (including an Eligible Entrant and the
Prize Recipient); (f) use/taking of the Prize (g) the Promotion.
38. All entries become the sole property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects your
personal information so that it may process your entry, administer this Promotion and
contact you regarding information on products or services that may be of interest to
you.
39. The Promoter may communicate personal information to external providers and
organisations to which it may outsource certain functions.
40. The Promoter will use and handle your personal information as set out in its Privacy
Policy, which can be viewed at
www.bankwest.com.au. The Privacy Policy set outs
how you may access, update or correct your personal information, change your direct
marketing preferences or make a privacy complaint.
