Yep, Venice for sure for me too!

You'll probably have to fly through Rome so negotiate a stop-over there and heck, why not add Singapore or HK on the way back too! I've had a few wins and have learnt a few tricks now when it's someone else paying the fares!...

Do your homework on airlines ASAP and ask politely upfront if you can have your preference. Check sites like Webjet with possible dates to get an idea of airlines flying there, timetables, codesharing, stopovers, etc...
Some comps handball bookings to specialist travel agencies, some do it in-house. If it's the latter, you may be able to call the shots a little if you have your facts ready to go.

So happy for you. I won a trip a few years ago, and had 4 nights in Venice as part of it. If you have not been before, ask if you can extend your holiday at your own cost It is very easy to get around via the train network, or many cruise ships leave from Venice. We did a Mediteranean cruise which was very inexpensive.  Have a fantastic time.

Thanks so much everyone! It's great to have fellow compers on here who are friendly and genuinely happy for another person's win! Unfortunately this has not been the case on Facebook... A few sore losers have come out of the woodwork on Squarz Facebook page accusing and insisting that I 'bought likes' to win the competition and that I shouldn't have won. Firstly the competition wasn't judged solely on likes, and although I had heaps of likes by the end, I didn't have the most anyway. Secondly I didn't even know you could buy likes until reading those nasty posts!!! It's very sad and pathetic that when people don't win something, they have to try and shoot others down. I have been entering competitions for years, and i've lost countless times, but I always lose graciously. Shame, but oh well!

That's sad that there are sore losers out there on facebook. Ignore the nasty posts. Why not thank the well wishers? Then you come out looking good and you haven't stooped to the nasties low level. And don't feel that you have to defend yourself on fb either. Just a suggestion.
